Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce - Song info plugin for FIP radio
Hi Paul - I mentioned I had lost FIP/France Music last night - it seems I was using TuneIn streams, rather than yours so that's why. I've switched over to the streams from your plugin now. The mp3 and aac are fine, but HLS throws up an 'unable to play file type' error. I have Play HLS installed from a while back, and BBC m3u8 streams from the iPlayer plugin play OK. Any thoughts? Thanks, aac will do fine for now! 7.8.0, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio, 1 x PiCore mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106900 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, thats what is happening. The selected player is changing all the time, without me asking it to. Also one player is currently listed three times, its going beserk! Currently running 9.4.1 - I dont know the previous version, sorry. No Apple watch. Currently there is only one router and one LMS, connected to a mixture of wireless and wired players. Yesterday I was testing a second LMS on a different network and was switching iPeng between the two by switching my iPad between networks, but today that second network is unplugged. 7.8.0, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio, 1 x PiCore mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I have an iPeng oddness which has started today - first I noticed the player I had selected at the bottom of the screen (the only one switched on) would change to one of the others on the network. When this happened, the list of artists/albums on the right would reset to the top if I was searching for something. Then the correct player would reappear at the bottom and the list would reset again. This was happening once or twice a minute. If I looked at the multi-player list I could see players were disappearing from it and reappearing for a few seconds, seemingly at random. When the player that was switched on disappeared, the player at the top of the list became the main player... At one point the player I was listening to was listed twice! Any idea what may be happening? As I say, this has just started. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
My problem is now several pages back - I hope no-one minds if I bump it, I haven't a clue what to try next. Quote from earlier: I'm struggling to get bpa's plugin up and running as well. I've put ffmpeg.exe and lame.exe in the same folder as faad and sox. Under 'file types' for Apple HLS m3u8 I have ffmpeg for FLAC and PCM and ffmpeg/lame for MP3. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. When I try to play the URL for R3 the stream is recognised as HLS but there is no audio and the counter resets to zero after four seconds. My hunch is that it is something to do with ffmpeg or lame, but I don't know how to verify that. What can I try next? This is on Windows 7 32-bit. Additional info: when I try to play the stream there is no sign of ffmpeg or lame running in Task Manager - is that relevant? bpa wrote: > Have you installed ffmpeg.exe in the right Windows directory ? > Have you tested that ffmpeg.exe actually runs on your system ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
I'm struggling to get bpa's plugin up and running as well. 7.7.2, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi bpa, thanks for your response. I have been testing using last Sunday's 'Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone' on 6 Music. Yesterday afternoon, 'Can't find file.' Last night, the programme played, and I listened to the first half. This morning I tried to listen to the second half - again, 'Can't find file.' I rebooted and restarted LMS. At the first attempt the show played when selected via the web interface. I chose another programme, which wouldn't play. I reselected 'Freak Zone' which wouldn't play again. My setting for file formats is AAC>Flash>MP3>WMA. I have tried defaulting to WMA, but it makes no difference. On the web interface you can see the file format switch from 0,cbr to 0,wma presumably as it tries the different streams. When it plays it shows 128,cbr. All my players, Touch, Radio, SB3, are behaving in the same way. Everything was working perfectly on Friday and no settings have been changed. The only difference is an intervening lightning storm... I am happy to post a log if you tell me where to find it! Thanks. 7.7.2, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Is anyone else having problems with Listen Again? Since yesterday afternoon almost all programmes have been returning the message 'Can't open file for...' Occasionally a programme will play but then not if I try again ten minutes later. Live streams are fine, and I'm wondering if the fault is at my end or the BBC's. 7.7.2, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
I'm having exactly the same problem as TheCreat (post#5491.) Spotify stops streaming and a popup box informs me that spotifyd.exe has stopped working. As soon as the box is closed, everything works again. Sometimes the message appears when no Squeezeboxes are in operation. Is it worth trying the updated spotifyd.exe? Is it just a case of locating the old version and replacing it? 7.7.2, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
I've been getting these since moving from SBS to LMS, so I think it may be a settings problem. Sometimes they are like a slight pop, other times a momentary dip in level (like a bad punch-out from the analogue recording days!) They only occur on Listen Again and can be as frequent as every 20 seconds, though more often I notice them every three or four minutes. Please can anyone tell me where to start looking? I've noticed similar problems mentioned in this thread, but no solutions. 7.4.1, 2 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Duet, 1 x Radio mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
Something I've noticed while the AAC listen again streams are down - I've got a couple of BBC live streams mapped to preset buttons on my Boom, but if I select 'prefer WMA' the presets don't work (I get the 'Can't Find rmtp://interminably long stream' message) although the stream IDs are presumably still valid as I can get them if WMA is not ticked. In no way intended to be a criticism or complaint about a wonderful plugin, just an observation. -- mberger 7.4.1, 2 x SB3, 1 x Boom mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer plugin - problems with some live streams
I noticed last weekend that the live stream of BBC Radio 5 live was breaking up badly from time to time (giving a kind of echoing stutter effect.) I didn't have time to investigate but today the problem is still there, as well as on Radio 5 Sports Extra and Radio 6. Radios 1-4 and 7 live streams are fine, as are all programs on demand. The problem is reproducable on two SB3s and a Boom in different parts of the house. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
Triode Ive moved to SC 7.3.3 which has altered things a little. I can now get almost all Radio 6 Listen Again shows for last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but none at all for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The SB shows a timer stuck at 00:00 for these shows but the SC timer advances as normal. For all these programmes the iPlayer log looks like this. Hope this might give you a clue. I can see that something is pointing the SB at the error 404 message (although this is not displayed) [09-06-18 13:15:31.9922] Plugins::BBCiPlayer::iPlayer::requestString (52) non streaming url http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/3/auth/iplayer_streaming_http_mp4/b00l6dwn [09-06-18 13:15:32.3528] Plugins::BBCiPlayer::iPlayer::requestString (77) streaming url http://download.iplayer.bbc.co.uk/iplayer_streaming_http_mp4/httpdl_iphone/direct/6music/secure_auth//RBN2_6music_-_sunday_1730_b00l6dwn_2009_06_15_10_48_04.mp3?token=iVXbwJ55Tdkla1AhHkwnNKUz4ijyBfeUta77JjBi81mqWG7oqtsgoqm4zOdL8km3fshtcvGmSU2U%0A9M6s%2BxQG4otDRz9NIwnp%2BYgr3d2g5r31t77myNy72a2oF0ghM6nRBlZTNVxMOiEPhlh%2BRbfAT1R4%0ALmEbdF8evaL50j85wq49jGQCMubU%0A bytes: 0-67108863 time: 0 [09-06-18 13:15:32.5483] Plugins::BBCiPlayer::iPlayer::requestString (52) non streaming url http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/licence/error.shtml?statuscode=404 [09-06-18 13:15:32.9716] Plugins::BBCiPlayer::iPlayer::onPlayout (231) length: duration: next: 67108864 current: 0 [09-06-18 13:15:32.9724] Plugins::BBCiPlayer::iPlayer::onPlayout (246) restarting stream at current position [09-06-18 13:15:32.9733] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::select (271) Error: Select task failed: Illegal division by zero at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SqueezeCenter\Cache\InstalledPlugins/Plugins/BBCiPlayer/iPlayer.pm line 247. -- mberger mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'm experiencing a problem with the BBC Radio 6 Listen Again feeds- around 75% of them won't play - The SB display freezes on "Buffering 18%". I'm getting the same on two SB3s and a Boom (although the Boom seems to play a few more than the SB3s will.) The same thing happens with the AlienBBC => Alternate listen again feeds. I still can't get any live streams through the iPlayer plug-in, and it's been like that for two weeks now... no-one else seems to have this problem so I feel it's something to do with my setup. I've reinstalled the plug-in to no avail. It's no big deal because Listen Again works fine and I can get all the live streams via Staff Picks, but it would be nice to access everything from one place!
