Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
Spotty problem also on SB touch. Running fine, but today get this message on plugin setting page There has been a problem running the Spotty helper application. Please make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime (32-bit!) installed on your system. I uninstalled and reinstalled LMS. Now have 1.9.5 plugin, but same problem. Checked on Windows updates, found these for 10/26/2017 Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243) Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (KB2467173) Could these updates have created my problem? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
Although this was requested in a separate thread, perhaps it would better to ask here. With the new RP web player, one can request 1 of 4 mixes... Mellow Rock Groovy Main Now listening to the Mellow Mix (Sara, Fleetwood Mac). Awesome sounding FLAC stream. Anyway of incorporating this into the RP Plugin? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 3.0.0 - Spotify Podcasts on your Squeezebox
Looks like it should, if I'm reading this announcement correctly... Updated: Nov 16, 2019 Short and sweet announcement, but for those that have a new PI4 and want to use pCP..Only an image is offered, as we had to increase partition sizes to accommodate the PI4 firmware/kernels. One image still supports all rpi boards. ronnie...are you running squeezelite on your pi and is it connected to your Windows LMS instead of your pi LMS? On my windows 10 machine it appears to reside here C:\ProgramData\squeezebox\cache\InstalledPlugins\Plugins \RadioParadise Is that right or is my server a little old. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
Trying to install 7.9.1 on Windows 10 machine and get warnings from Windows Defender that this app may not be safe. Is this normal, and should I just tell it to install anyway? I've uninstalled 7.7.5. I typed in in at the bottom of the server settings plugin page, pressed apply, and nothing seems to happen. http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/test.xml Sorry...what am I doing wrong? As I understand it, DACs that accept I2S use HDMI cables because they have enough pins to deliver I2S differentially. The differential voltages for BCLK, LRCLK, DATA, and MCLK are needed to allow for the longer cable lengths between external devices. You would need something like a Audio-GD HDMI LVDS I2S OUTPUT Module connected to the RPi I2S GPIO pins. The HDMI output of the module would then connect to your D90. I think I have that right(?) mboxler's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67126 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114671 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Cut-Throat wrote: > Ah ! - Not as simple as I was hoping. So, it appears the > HDMI port is not usable with PiCorePlayer, except with additional > hardware? I believe it's usable, but only if the receiver can accept standard HDMI audio, which is in PCM or Bitstream format. Your D90's HDMI input is expecting I2S, and I'm assuming that's the problem. If you have an A/V receiver that accepts HDMI you could test this out. Again, I'm no expert. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable chimes in ;) mboxler's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67126 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114671 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
