Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Roon: my experience.
Here's more BAD for Roon compare to LMS: -No support for DNLA players -No support for Alarms -No support for Podcast Some Plus: -Support for Ravenna (you could control the Nadac from Merging ) -Nice UI for signal path -LMS is due to revamp for their native interface, it will be nice to use the Squeezepad approach. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Hi Philippe, Bravo ! for your excellent work on the CastBridge. I installed it two days ago and it works fine until I decided to change the parameters for 192 kHz. I re-install several times but the main section of Chromecast Bridge appear but no xml files are generated even if we click on -generate or refresh-, using WinSCP I confirm that the chromecastbridge.xml is not present in /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs I'm using this version of LMS: Logitech Media Server Version : 7.9.0 - 0.114.20160131git1454098279 @ Sun Jan 31 00:54:12 GMT 2016 Regards Michel Tête à FLAC 2 X SB Classic 2 X SB2 1 X SB Boom 1 X SB Touch All SB controlled via VortexBox server aka The Musical Box mftech's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1586 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Nasty bug with the Weather plug-in
Repro steps: When selecting Weather/Time in the sreensaver menu, the Slimserver Windows service stop and the SB3 is unable to open. Every time you restart the service stop after 5 sec. This is probably due to the fact that I didn't have a registration for accessing the site. Workaround: Press as quickly as possible to get out of the screensaver. Expecting results: The Slimserver Service shouldn't be affected (turn off)when selecting Weather/Time as a screensaver. (when you're not registred on this Weather service.
