I recently installed your plugins and I have to say they are fantastic in combination with ipeng and ipad. Only issue I have is that even with popular songs with added song info in parenthesis i. e: (feat. Eric Clapton on guitar) lyric are not found. Sorry if this has been asked before, I could not find an answer. If I want to find i. e. my Hdcd coded albums (I added hdcd to album name) search returns just 50 results. I just tried using Fire TV as a standalone player using optical out to my Benchmark DAC. Still connected to my TV set I configured SB player to launch at Startup. Played some music over DAC - no problems. Then I disconnected from TV and rebooted the FTV. Ipeng found the player but I had no sound via optical anymore. Then again I connected HDMI to TV and playback was working again. I have been running svrpowercontrol for over a year on XP without a glitch. Recently I switched to win 7. As I am running several tasks overnight I do not set svrpowercontrol to suspend my server but use windows power settings. Unfortunately Win 7 even goes to standby when this is disabled in power control center as long as svrpowercontrol is enabled in plugins (note that I had monitoring of squeezeboxen turned off!). With the last 2 or 3 updates of iPeng the program keeps updating on every start even when no music has been added or retagged. These 2 minutes of delay drive me crazy. Server Version is 7.5.1. Ipeng is installed on iphone 3g FW 3.1.3. Server is not scanning, no autoscan enabled. Why do I restart often? Hmm.. sometimes I have to make some phone calls. I upgraded to iPeng 1.3.1 yesterday with my touch 1G and enabled playback. Worked perfectly and I was a happy camper. At night I paused playback and put the touch in standby (batt nearly full) just to see the device completely run down in the morning. Nonetheless I wanted to see if it was the same on my iphone 3G. I charged the touch and synced ipeng with my pc. Then did the sync to iphone. After starting the app i went to settings. Now I am asked again to pay for playback enabling? Why? I already payed for it. Do I have to pay for all touches and iphones run on my itunes account. That would be a first. @soulgazer Thx that worked. Power drain happens on my iphone 3g as well. Another problem came up again: being closed after updating its library, ipeng forgets evertything on restart, i.e. updating again, wrong last player. Sometimes operating instructions pop up. I have to wait ~ 2min. to be able to use it. As I had these bugs with 1.30 and later I previously had downgraded to 1.27 which was much more useful in this regard. BTW. Under Win XP and Squeezecenter 7.1 final when issuing suspend hibernate or restart command from within the plugin my SB3 goes blank but the server dooes nothing. The only thing that happens is Squeezecenter freezing. The PC has to be restarted.
