[SlimDevices: Plugins] New XM Plug-in: Question & Comment
I just installed the new XM plug-in -- THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! It works great. However, I have one question/suggestion, and a comment: 1) I noticed that there is no little "heart" icon when you browse through your presets (for example), or when you tune a station. As a result, I'm not aware of any way to add XM stations to "favorites." Is there? This would be a suggestion for the next version, but I'm wondering if there is a "URL" so-to-speak that I can use to add an XM station into favorites. 2) I would like to donate to the cause as an expression of gratitude for this plug-in -- but I don't see any Paypal link (say) in the google code page for the plug-in. Can you guys add one? Thanks again!!! - Mike. -- miked miked's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4442 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64108 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] XM not showing up on Duet controller

[SlimDevices: Plugins] XM not showing up on Duet controller
Just got my Duet! I was able to install the XM plug-in into SqueezeCenter, and it shows up perfectly on the web interface. However, it doesn't show up on the Duet controller. I tried rebooting the controller, but still no go. Is there any trick I'm missing? Or, does the plug-in specifically have to be "coded" to show up on the controller? -- miked miked's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4442 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44306 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: XMRadio Plugin for 7.0
I think that the attached file has no problems -- I was able to find an online unzip tool that helped. If anyone is having problems with the original link, let me know if this one works . . . . Update: Well, I'm not sure what's going on. The original on my HD opens just fine, but after I upload it and then try downloading it, it doesn't work. So, if anyone needs to get the original link working and cannot, this is what I did. 1) Download the original link zip file that wasn't working for you. 2) Go to http://wobzip.filetap.com/ and unzip it there. 3) Save the resulting unzipped file onto your hard drive. 4) Rename this file so that it has the extension .zip (you may have to rename it so that it doesn't have the same name as the file you downloaded in 1) 5) Try unzipping the file you just renamed in 4. This worked for me. +---+ |Filename: Plugins-XMRadio-Plugin-2.0.0.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4150| +---+ -- miked miked's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4442 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42520 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New XM Radio Plug-in
I'd be willing to chip in $250 towards development of an XM plug-in for V7, under the following two conditions: 1) It has to work in my setup! :) Garden-variety, but figured I'd throw this in. 2) The source code remains open source or at the least "freeware" for everyone else. - Mike. -- miked miked's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4442 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29510 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I believe (?) that you can start softsqueeze via the manual "java" command (in a command prompt) and specify the skin that way. Not sure if that helps you.
