I am in the process in installing a whole house sound system in a 9,000 sq foot home. I am installing multiple zones using several Squeezebox players. My customer has purchased iPeng for the 3 ipods they own and everything is working great. The question I have is, can any of the squeezebox players be hidden from view to make things less confusing at times ? Example we have a player in their gym and one in their Master Bedroom and we have 3 additional players in other areas of the house. When they entertain it would be easier only to see the those 3 additional players because the Gym and MB will never be used for a party. But at other times they would want to bring them back into view to control them. Can this be done ? Thanks for a great product !! I'm sorry I should have worded it differently. I do everything with my Netgear Nas. What I meant to say is one box might be on Slacker and the other on Pandora or my own local music. I have been playing them both for about an hour now and neither has disconnected yet, go figure. One other question will iPeng work if I connect to MySqueezebox.com for music ? If it does I can't seem to make it work. Thanks Again Pat P.S. I am doing a large whole house audio job for someone and we decided to use squeezeboxes they already own either iTouches or iPhones. Can this be done ? > > Thanks OK I have been playing around with 2 boxes for now trying the sync feature etc. but if I un-sync them and still have both players on iPeng playing different sources after a while the one that is not highlighted tells me I am no longer logged in, or I'm logged in to a different player. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong. There will be times that I will want to control several Squeezeboxes with different music sources on one iTouch. I love iPengJust needed to get that out of the way. How many players can iPeng handle at one time. I want to install 4 or 5 players in a home and want to be able to access them one at a time and then also sync them. Can this be done ?
