[SlimDevices: Plugins] Specify audio output device in Squeezeplay on MAC OSX?
I've done a few searches, and either the solution is so easy, no one has asked the question -- or the problem is so rare, no one has run into it I've got multiple audio devices connected to my Mac. Most apps let me choose which to use, and those that don't let me choose will typically just use the default, which is my USB DAC. Squeezeplay has neither an option in the GUI to specify which output device to use, nor does it use my default (as controlled by Systems Preferences). Is there a config file somewhere in the MacOSX installation that I can tweak, in order to force Squeezeplay to use my USB DAC? nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99161 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] IPeng: Do you prefer the old or new player icons?
A poll associated with this post was created, to vote and see the results, please visit http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81028 Question: Which player icons in iPeng do you prefer? - Old - New I'll vote once the poll is about better indicaring the state of each player. The new icons are prettier but the old icons were more useful. I dont think either is the right choicd (ugly+functional or pretty+dysfunctional). I'd like to see e new icons with the old functionality. -- nathan_h nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81028 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The ipad has only benn around for four months and most of this discussion is about iOS which has been in the wild for five weeks so it would be strange if this was a topic for several months. It is strange stuff like this that makes the comments sound trollish, especially when when repeated. But lets give you the benefit of the doubt: it feels like forever and that you didnt understand the response when first posted. Okay. Sorry you did'nt understand. Looks like everyone else did and tried to explain it, albeit sometimes mimicing the tone of the request rather than sticking to reiterating " just the facts ". -- nathan_h nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I got no complaints and i am using ipeng extensively on my ipad. Heck i have several so called updated apps that just crash repeatedly so i endorse the idea of testing more than they did before releasing an update. -- nathan_h nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Now that I do it, I have success. Yes, if I use the Safari browser on the iPhone, I can open my squeezecenter at 192.168.1.110:9005 no problem. The same IP address in the "additional servers" section of iPeng doesn't help iPeng find my players or server. I have now tried just :9005 but that does not seem to resolve the issue. --- Do I need to install something else on the Windows 7 box? Perhaps something like Bonjour? Or does ipeng use something other than http on port 9005, so I need to adjust a firewall setting? -- nathan_h nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I had to move my Squeezecenter to port 9005 on my server, because of a conflict. The Squeezeboxes in my house found it and all is well except iPeng cannot find the server (actually says "no player found") anymore. I cleared the cache. I manually inserted the ip address in the settings area, as an "additional server" just to help. No dice. Tried searching this thread, but mostly found stuff about remote connections, not about what I am seeing. -- nathan_h nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
