I seem to be having problems where the image for the artist is wrongly displayed & apparently jumbled with other artists on the list. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it? Using Music Info screen when playing music & this behaviour seen on SB3. Connected by ethernet gigabit with good stable internet connection. Stops & shows rebuffering. Sometimes comes back after a few seconds or when the next announcement comes on. Thanks. Yep I don't understand how Win10 works in this respect or how it allocates ownerships etc. Thanks for the heads up. I created an empty .opml file & edited the file properties to 'all' essentially, and that got round the problem. Why using an admin user I shouldn't have access to the data drive in this way I don't understand. Just had to reinstall Windows on my PC Having reinstalled LMS I decided to add a few plugins. When I try installing CDPlayer player plugin via the Plugins menu I get the following error when running from the web browser. THERE WAS AN ERROR LOADING THE REMOTE FEED FOR CDPLAYER: (UNABLE TO OPEN FILE 'E:\SQUEEZEMUSICMASTER\CDPLAYERCDTOC.OPML') Anyone able to point me in the right direction to solve this? This is LMS 7.9.2 running on PC under Windows 10. Michael Actually, as CEEJAY suggests in his post above, the playlist issue seems to occur almost anytime you click on the playlist tab & then hit the play key. In fact it seems to happen if you navigate from the album tab to the playlist tab if something is already playing. Just to re-iterate: This is using the .ewe on an Ipaq 2210 (although CEEJAY is also seeing it on his pda). I do NOT see this behaviour when running the Windows .EXE (i've tried & it seems to behave correctly when doing the same thing that causes a problem on PDA!) I'll try & sit down later & detail some precise sequences of actions that trigger it... By the way CEEJAY: (3) anyone know how to make slimremote appear in the program list? I only seem to be able to start it by navigating to File Explorer and clicking on slimremote.ewe. The entries for the Programs option that appears under the Start Menu are in the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder on your PDA. Adding a shortcut to this directory (or even moving the application to this directory) will make it appear on the Programs screen You could add it as an option on the Start Menu (via the Menus option found under settings), but there is a limit to the number of items in your start menu so you may have to uncheck an existing Start Menu item... Hi Michael My opinion that this is one killer application for pda remains. Superb way of controlling SB3. I have just tried 0.8 on my ipaq 2210 & have a couple of questions / points & one problem to report: 1. When I list artists the list shows all artists, even those from compilation CDs which I have swichted off in the Slimserver settings. In practice I actually prefer this -on the SB3 display I dont see all of the 'compilation' artists but on my pda via slimremote.ewe & a better screen I do. Is the discrepancy due to a particular setting that I have overlooked? 2. When I list artists, where I have more than one artist listed against an album I get an entry for the combined artist e.g. I have 'The Jam' followed by 'The Jam;Paul Weller' rather than two entries. 3. I didnt use the playlist feature that much before (I normally play an album through), but I dont recall having this error. I have found a problem with the .ewe application running on my pda. When I add an album to the playlist, instead of stopping at the contents of the album added, it seems to go off & add every song in the database.leading to the following error: Java/Lang/NumberFormatException If when I first start the application I clear the playlist, then add an album. Then navigate to the playlist tab it shows the track listing for the album. Then if I hit the play button, the playlist updates & it appears to do the same thing & show every track in the database... so at the moment its not possible to use the Playlist tab (unless I have done something wrong)! Yipeegot it going! Many thanks! Yep: it was partly the port and also a networking prob. Was primarily trying to use on a PDA and it seems that with my combination or router & PDA the two would connect when first opened but would then hang. Seems DHCP does not work with my combination of Ipaq with Sandisk Wifi + Belkin wireless router. When I specified a fixed IP (& DNS server for internet) everything works. Then fixed port & bingo...!! Great applicationnow just left trying to gather artwork... so add Ipaq 2210 pda as compatable to the list...!! Really SB3 is such a great device - and a large part is down to the cracking applications that so many have written including this one! No i'm gonna eBay my expensive Audiolab CD transport...!
