It fails to reboot on the synology side.
I select the option to 'Run' the LMS service in Package Center and it
loads for a while saying 'starting' but it eventually returns to a
status of 'stopped' and the LMS url is not available.

Nas is DS214Play running DSM6
Running Pinkdot's -LogitechMediaServer-i686-7.9.2-168.0025.spk-

By edit I mean add new or remove installed plugins.
To get it running again I needed to uninstall it and reinstall :-/

Thanks for the questions - I tried again to reboot via the dialog after
adding just the Spotty plugin and it failed to reboot.
Next time I added Spotty and rebooted via Synology interface Package
Center and it came back up :)
Now running Spotty.
Guess I need to be careful how I choose to reboot it.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synology 7.9.2 packages

2019-09-03 Thread shano

I can't seem to restart LMS on my synology.

I've successfully installed both the beta version and 7.9.2 custom
(after uninstalling previous) and it runs smoothly.
But every time I edit the plugins (really want Spotty to run) I need to
restart the server.
Doing this via the LMS Settings interface or via Synology web interface
doesn't restart it.
Package center tries for a while but then defaults back to Stopped.
Any ideas?

Just updated to your 164.1136 after the Synology update and that fixed
my UI issues.
Thanks!

It looks like http://server.pinkdot.nl/dsm6/ is down.
Is there an alternative link where I download it?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)

2015-05-05 Thread shano

I have upgraded my Odroid U3 from an older version of Squeezeplug to
latest Max2Play.
I'm using a basic DAC - PCM2704. It has a 3.5 output and SPDIF Coaxial
and Optical.
I want to use the Coaxial specifically.

To test it I have been running:

Code:

/opt/squeezelite/squeezelite -o front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 -n PI-NAME -a 200

which successfully plays via the DAC headphone output.

But when I try

Code:

/opt/squeezelite/squeezelite -o iec958:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 -n PI-NAME -a 200

It still outputs via headphone jack and not Coax. Any idea how I can
specify the DAC output?

root@max2play:/etc/opt/squeezelite/squeezelite -l
