[SlimDevices: Plugins] Audio output
Morning all, I am not sure this is the right forum but here goes. I am running LMS on my windows mini pc, and stream from this to my squeezebox touch, I control this using ipeng on my ipad. The question is could I send the sound out prom my windows pc directly to some powered speakers using LMS that is running on the machine, so really the pc is acting as a squeezebox. Possibly not explained myself very well. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Ipeng or other
Morning guys, after many months of deliberation I have finally got me an ipad. I would love to control my squeezebox now with it and have read about a couple of apps for doing this. Could you recommend the best app for me please, Really most of the time I just browse to my music folders rather than search genre etc. It would be good if the app allowed me to maybe have music folders as a main option, like can be done with squeezeplay. Any help appreciated steve -- stevecross stevecross's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91553 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Wake on lan etc
Hi, i have not installed graphics driver or sound drivers because i have no use when connecting remotely, would this cause a problem when hibernating. I will install these and try. steve -- stevecross stevecross's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66920 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Wake on lan etc
No options in power management in control panel, i have upgraded bios and it is set to sb3 i understand that this will allow suspend to ram, i have downloaded dumppo from microsoft, but it starts getting complex. steve -- stevecross stevecross's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66920 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Wake on lan etc
Thanks guys, i am at the moment trying to figure out why i do not have the facility in xp to hibernate or go into standbye. I have enabled wake on lan in the bios and have googled the problem but no answeres yet. I suspect that even with the pluggin at the moment it will not hibernate untill the command can be executed. I am however impressed with the intel board so far and it can do most things my triple core 180 watts per hour server did. It does not work without the 4 pin power plug in the board connected so i will need a power supply with this connector. The missus input is "why not just play cd,s its easier" but this will be worth it in the end. steve -- stevecross stevecross's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66920 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Wake on lan etc
Thanks for that, i was going to connect my atom server with a wire to my wireless router, would that do it, also i have a boom and a SB3. Do i need to connect either of my squeezebox,s with a wire directly to my atom server or will they communicate to the router then out from the router via the ethernet cable. steve -- stevecross stevecross's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66920 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Wake on lan etc
Good morning guys, i love my squeezebox,s and have now just made up a server using a intel atom dual core board intel 330, i am so far more than happy with it and would like to have the board wake up and sleep to conserve energy when commanded by squeezebox, i am running xp pro service pack 3. I have noticed and read the thread there is a plugin for thisbut it all seems so complicated to the newbie, i.e me. will it work with my system and is it really that difficult to get to work. steve -- stevecross stevecross's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66920 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
