Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Tidal App not appearing in My Apps, and won't play queued songs.
Hi, live close to NZ being in AUS and have exactly the same issue. I just signed up to Tidal on a special and can't add it to the myAPPs menu. If I go to App Gallery, Tidal is installed, uninstall and then press install and then select go to Tidal it all works as expected. But I can't get the Tidal into myApps so I can just play as I want, Am running 8.1.0 on an iMac. I deleted the cache.db and that made no difference. agt have i missed something you changed? thanks Vincent vdeknock's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4467 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113070 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
You can modify the template in the Custom Clock App on your LMS unit. The display on the unit has nothing to do with this app, this just provides the information. In Custom Clock, when you pick the one it will give you all the setting used in that display - with a bit of effort you can work out. Ask the same question in the Custom Clock posting for a more detailed response. -- vdeknock vdeknock's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4467 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Doug, Got it working again last time I checked - a complete reboot of the vortexbox fixed the issue with SDT and Music Information Screen (or something like that). I have not looked since but have made zero changes to the box since I got all working. Might leave my machine alone for a few weeks, as not having SDT is worst as it is used on three machines and tells me the weather each morning on my radio. -- vdeknock vdeknock's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4467 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Feature request - with the OFF screen would it be possible to allow the screen to be changed by the pressing/rotating of a button. ie using the push feature of the volume button the screen that is displayed could be cycled through a number of options. That way I can keep my nice big time display but with a quick press of a button see the weather or any other display. I have been playing with the screensaver switcher plugin and the ability to have different screens at different times. My issue I noticed last night for the first time as the unit was off when the change over happened - the unit turned on and the home menu was being displayed rather than the clock - I rolled over near 11pm and did not see the time, I had to press the off button to get it back to the off clock mode. It's official weather and more regularly updated than weather.com, and sometimes less weird than wunderground's results (it also has better coverage than weather.com) Handily bom.gov.au provides data 3 formats, so no HTML scraping (I've got a Squeezbox V3). Is this the sort of thing that should be tidied up and placed into the main branch? Or should it remain an oddity? However... the more of these things placed into the main branch the further it diverges from its original intent, and I really don't expect the original author to have too much interest in maintaining Australian weather. Have a look at this post - someone has posted their setup down a few posts which is for a Boom. Will give you an idea of how it works http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53877highlight=superdatetime The %C will just display that information. Maybe you are getting incorrect information imported or the data is incorrect and it is reading that as just AA - if you work out which field is corrupt you can remove it or use the different weather service available wunderground. If you look %E is temperature from weather.com in degC and %E is temperature from wunderground in degC. Does not take long to get the hand of the way it works and find the bad data. I would turn off all the other data and just work on the weather to start with.
