I tried your approach - scrolling through Albums looking for missing artwork. On checking these in MP3Tag, a pattern emerged. All missing artwork in iPeng, actually had at least 2 album arts reported within MP3Tag (1/2). The first image was 0b though, with no image shown. On deleting all these superfluous "non-images", resulted in MP3Tag showing a album art correctly (1/1) - I have not crashed / paused the iPeng start up since. Interestingly, there were files which had 0b on images which MP3Tag reported as the second image (2/2) - but these did not seem to cause a problem with iPeng. I now have to understand exactly how these false images occurred - but I suspect it was one of the "album art finder" utilities somewhere along the line Does this seem reasonable? wliptrot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9842 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
So a way forward might be to section my library up in chunks, and Clear/rescan it. Trying to identify a rogue album art (should all be folder.jpg in with the tracks, but also some are embedded due to iTunes issues)ok. Sounds like a way forward. wliptrot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9842 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Usually, my SqBox Classic will have started via IR - from a Harmony One. I have it set to resume with Play. I then access my Music via iPeng, nearly always by Artist. Never by Music Folder. It continues to play, using up the buffer. Then iPeng hangs, not really getting the album art filled in on the screen, meanwhile, Classic display eventually shows the "server not found" message in small font...which occurs for ~3mins - then all is well, song continues, and iPeng starts to list the players etc...and all is well. Custom Browse is not loaded. CPU seems low (less than 10%). wliptrot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9842 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
WHS 2011 - LMS restarts when iPeng accesses Server I notice this (on various apple devices) when the system has not been used for a while, and the SqBox is turned ON. I see it occurring on my 2 SqBox Classics the most, but also Duet I think. Not noticed it on Radio - but I don't use iPeng there. It occurred on the old iPeng as well as v7. I have had this issue a long time, but not making progress - it is spoiling my iPeng/SqBox experience too much. It used to happen with 7.7.3, so tried 7.8.0 to no avail. I have disabled lots of plugins, but no difference. I have installed 0.64d, and it works fine on the local host. unfortunately, I need it most on my laptop. My favourite plugin, thanks for getting it up and running again. I always have font size set to "FULL", and this means the first line is missing off the song, and I can only see it if I drop down to "Standard" size. Perhaps you could auto insert a blank first line so I can scroll through properly. Or am I missing something obvious? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: Multi Library plugin
I have a big Various collection, which I have seperated out from my normal albums, so now directories look like: D:\music\MP3\ D:\music\various\ The multilibrary plugin is installed, and recognised under plugins on the home page. I have followed the Example 1 in an earlier post. Not sure what Menu Group does, but I ignored that and just added d:\music\mp3 with the aim of just browsing the artists of full albums, without the full list the various brings with it. I click Next and on the next page I accept the filename, standard.ml.values.xml I then get a red "error: No library directory configured" error. Any suggestions?
