Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
I do not know how to solve this problem: I have installed LMS on my new NAS I have installed TrackStat (v3v3.602) via unsupported extensions. I could restore the TrackStat information from my old NAS. But when I try to use the *scheduled* back-up function from TrackStat on my new NAS, nothing happened. The scheduled back-up function does not work.:( On my old NAS the scheduled back-up function did work and still works. Can anyone help me to get the TrackStat back-up working on my new NAS? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP / SugarCube settings suggestions?
On topic. On my desktop with Squeezelite I use now the following SugarCube settings: SugarCube Mix Mode: Freestyle Mode FreeStyle Random Track Selection: Specific Yer Range (Strict) Random Mixing Start Year: 1985 Random Mixing End Year: 1995 FreeStyle Track Selection Type: Any Track (Default) FreeStyle Track Length Preference: Any Length (Disabled) SugarCube Enhancements Dynamic Queuing: Only Queue a New Track if Playing the last Track on the Playlist: On Block Artist Repeating for x Tracks: 5 Always Block Selected Artist: None Always Block this Genre: None Block Album Repeating for x Tracks: 100 Remember This Many Played Tracks: 100 @cparker Good that SugarCube sees my year tags (TDRC or TDOR?; ID3v2.4), so FreeStyle Mix works great. I find it strange that MusicIp Mixer 1.9 beta6 (Windows 10) does *not* see the year tags. Is that because I am working with ID3v2,4 or is it an known bug? *Squeezebox*: 1x Touch + 1x Radio *Squeezelite 1.9.0.1113*: 4x *Logitech Media Server*: Version: 7.9.2 - 1571226194 *Plugins*: Custom Skip v2.5.83; Database Query v2.4.3923; Dynamic Playlists v2.10.247Spicefly SugarCube v4.86; Trackstat v3.3.602 *NAS*: QNAP Turbostation TS-239 Pro II (1,6Ghz, 1GB); firmware 4.2.6 Build 20200109 ; QPKG LogitechMediaServer 7.7.2 *Tag*: MusicBrainz Picard 2.2.3 (Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS); Puddletag 1.2.0 (Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS) 'Last.fm' (www.last.fm/user/Wowotiel) wowo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18033 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111549 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

@cparker. When I have tagged more Genres to a Music File Spicefly SugarCube, MusicIP Mixer and MusicIP Headless Server only show the first Genre. For instance: I have files tagged with: NMIP\\Classical and also files with only the NMIP tag. In LMS webinterface I can see both the separate Genres: NIMP and separate Classical In Spicefly SugarCube, MusicIP Mixer and MusicIP Headless Server I could only see the NMIP genre but not the Classical genre. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP / SugarCube settings suggestions?
I have a collection of 2000 albums with 32.000 songs of 700 artists. 20% of the songs are compilations of various artists: Motown Hit series, De Pre Historie, TMF/Yorin/Radio 538 Hitzone, Dance Classics series etc Compilations of various artists I do *not* want in my mixes and also not Classical and Jazz Music. The music I do not want in my mixes I have marked with the genre NIMP (=No Music IP ;)) I am a Linux user so I use Puddletag (similar as Mp3tag Windows) for that. For instance: Classical music I mark with the genres NMIP\\Classical (so the first is always NMIP) In MusicIP Mixer: Preferences > Exclusions > Dont Analyze Songs Like This > Match any of the following conditions: Genre contains NMIP So all the music I do not want, are not analyzed by MusicIP Mixer and are also not in my Spicefly SugarCube mixes. If you do want to analyze all your music you can use the genre tag NMIP in Spicefly Sucarcube: SugarCube Enhancements > Always Block this Genre: NMIP *Squeezebox*: 1x Touch + 1x Radio *Squeezelite 1.9.0.1113*: 4x *Logitech Media Server*: Version: 7.9.2 - 1571226194 *Plugins*: Custom Skip v2.5.83; Database Query v2.4.3923; Dynamic Playlists v2.10.247Spicefly SugarCube v4.86; Trackstat v3.3.602 *NAS*: QNAP Turbostation TS-239 Pro II (1,6Ghz, 1GB); firmware 4.2.6 Build 20200109 ; QPKG LogitechMediaServer 7.7.2 *Tag*: MusicBrainz Picard 2.2.3 (Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS); Puddletag 1.2.0 (Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS) 'Last.fm' (www.last.fm/user/Wowotiel) wowo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18033 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111549 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As I want also to see the value TYER (for me the albumrelease date), I use Custom Scan and Custom Browse as you can see in this thread. I could, if you want, send the custombrowsemenus and a screendump of the Custom Scan configuration I use in a PM. However the reason is only theoretical (loosless means no lost). For the results (ABX, Probability of Experiment Being the Same as Random Guesses) you can use: http://ff123.net/abx/abx.html Ps 1) I have made 15 trials for each Abx test (= maximum for your ears) 2) In Foobar ABx is it possible to switch between the formats and go further on the same timeline. The Squeezebox ABXtest starts, when you switch, always from the beginning of the track. *Maybe someone can make this possible ???* 3) You cannot extrapolate these results to yourself. The ABTester in the squeezebox works not yet for me. Maybe other people (developers?) can try to install this plugin and look if there is something wrong. You must install this plugin manually in the Plugins map of Squeezecenter. The menu appears under Extra in the Squeezebox. I have placed some tracks (trackA.mp3 and trackB.flac) in the testcases files but Squeezebox keeps telling: empty ; there are no testcases. I have also changed the test.xml found in cmpformats and put the test.xml and the tracks in the testcases map. I have atached a zipfile of this plugin. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Scan does not read ID3v2.4; Bug?
I have been done some further investigation. I have made a custom tag named OWNER in MP3tag and look what Custom Scan would do. 1) OWNER Tag in ID3v2.3 format is scanned well and selected. 2) OWNER Tag in ID3v2.4 format is scanned well and selected. The conclusion is Custom does read ID3v2.4 format *but!*: An ORIGYEAR tag in ID3v2.3 format is scanned well and selected but an ORIGYEAR tag in ID3v2.4 format is *not selected*. I have tried different tagsnames to scan: ORIGINALYEAR, TDOR, %TDOR%, %ID3:TDOR%, ID3:TDOR, but nothing happened. We're big fans of the dynamic playlists, especially queuing up a list of songs that haven't been played in a long time. Unless there was some must have functionality in 8.0 I wouldn't upgrade if it meant being without TrackStat.- Jeff I agreed, I also wouldn't upgrade. Logitech must realise that plugin makers as Erland make the squeezebox/transporter/squeezecenter more attractrive so they will buy it! ERLAND'S PLUGINS (TRACKSTAT) ARE NECESSARY FOR THE REALLY OPEN-SOURCE SPIRIT SO YOU CAN SET EVERYTHING EXACT AS YOU WANT. Thanks. I will try what you have said. It is much work because there are about 50 plugins in squeezecenter (I caunt also the plugins squeezecenter had delivered) I am a little bit sad that the logfile did not give you a clue to the problem. -- wowo wowo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18033 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39026 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
