Hi, I'm having 3 piCore player and one touch in my network and indeed I've somehow had a quite huge buffer set. I think I used this settings as it was mentioned quite long ago somewhere for optimal settings. I've put it on all three piCores on default and let's see if it stays unticked this time. I think I've tracked it down to be related to the setting "Optimize Pre-Buffering" - if this is enabled it seems to produce this skipping, if disabled all seems to be fine. The weird thing is that when I disable the checkbox, it will be enabled again after some days - don't know why? As slartibartfast mentioned this could happen if you had a player with huge buffers. Dear all, I'm having an issue with songs skipping to the next track before the end with my LMS Docker (dlandon) on an Unraid server. This happens quite randomly on my piCore players and SB-touch - for instance 4 tracks playing fine and then the next three tracks wouldn't be finish. I think I've tracked it down to be related to the setting "Optimize Pre-Buffering" - if this is enabled it seems to produce this skipping, if disabled all seems to be fine. Will it be possible to sort songs inside a playlist by "date added" in the future? I can't foresee the future :-). Would you want this to be a global flag, or something you could change on the fly? I have a new issue, for a few days: the music stops after 3-4 tracks played, when we are playing playlists or albums. ... I read on the forum that some people have the same issue. Do we have a workaround ? I'd have fixed this long ago if I knew how to do it. Do you thing it's a better idea to run lms in a virtual machine on my syno (I have no rpi left) ? Did you try to forward the port as suggested? The other option would be to change the container's networking mode. Which package would you suggest ? A VM is much heavier on resources than a Docker container. Hi, I have plowed through the posts an can find a couple with the same issue. Running latest Spotty and LMS on 64bit Windows 10. Not running Spotify connect. This has been an issue running back a couple of months, and updating and reinstalling everything has not helped. Music and playlists work just fine. All podcasts stop playing after ca. 12 minutes, and have to be restarted and manually forwarded to when they stopped, meaning they start from the beginning. Can someone confirm that Podcasts actually Work in Spotify (Spotty) at the moment? I've never used 96br. Changing it in UI and restarting LMS still states 96. Perhaps something else is not changed its supposed to? The 96bps is only used in the daemon - which is not being used for the streaming. Not sure when this happened but my CPU fan died and made me aware of it was needed. :) I compiled and tried spotty-dev and spotty branch but still the same. Thanks, I upgraded to 8.3.0 however my issue remains :-( What I have found is, If i use the LMS webinterface to play Spotify (via Spotty plugin) to my player, no issues with last track getting cut off before end. If I use the iOS Spotify app, and airplay (via ShairTunes2 (fork) plugin) to my player, no issues with last track getting cut off before end. If I use the iOS Spotify app, with Spotify connect (via Spotty plugin) last track gets cut off before the end :-( So at least i have two work arounds. Either use Airplay or use the LMS web interface. What use for the "Only show my library's albums for my library's artists" setting? --- If I search for "The Cure", I am presented with a list of songs on the bottom and the usual Artists, Albums, Playlists, Podcasts, Podcast Episodes, Users icons on top. If I search for "Genesis": list of songs, same six icons on top but if I click on Artists I get the full list of Artists with "Genesis" in their name (and the first is Genesis prog band, as expected). Why? Again on search: if I clear the search history and I search for something, the first case above happens. If I search for Genesis I find myself in "The Cure" scenario, where I don't get Artists results. I then search for "The Cure" and I get the expected Artists results. Last, always on search: with clean history, I am using Material skin btw, the first search presents the search requester immediately, type search word(s) press enter and go to results (but no Artists search results). After the first search, pressing on Search first brings you to search history and there you can input search word(s). If accessing search history, previous searches (the first one) that did not show Artists results now show them. Hello, i have a bit of a strange problem that I dont recall having before. If I use Spotify connect and use the iOS Spotify app or the Spotify client on my mac, the last track on the album, or last track in a playlist always seems to stop before the track actually ends. It seems that the Spotify music app is a bit ahead of whatever is being played on the end point. So when the Spotify app detects the end of the track, it drops the spotify connect connection and my end point stops playing. is this just normal behavior, or is it a settings issue I could fix with? I am using current version of Spotty. v.4.6.2 my end point is a DLNA player so am using the UPnP/DLNA Bridge plugin by Phillipe, which Spotty sees fine as a Spotify connect end point. Hi,
I only have one account.
I have tried the option above but without success. I determined that the
option in the spotify app you mentioned was enabled ("show only local
devices")! This indeed solved the problem with the dissapearing devices.
But the high CPU load is still present. I determined also that the play
time is jumping when I use the spotify app and stop the playing. When I
start playing the same title it start from somewhere and takes a couple
of secounds to start.

I have tried to activate this but it didnt solve the issue. When I
activate the option: "disabling the local announcements..." I cannot see
the player anymore in the Spotify app.
Are you using multiple accounts in Spotty? Are you phone and Spotty
using the same account? Or is your Spotify app configured to only show
local devices?

Hello,
I have tried to activate this but it didnt solve the issue. When I
activate the option: "disabling the local announcements..." I cannot see
the player anymore in the Spotify app.
I will check the next days if some ports are blocked but as I have seen
in the proxmox gui the "Firewall" is dissabled.

I have installed the last Spotty addon 4.6.2 and it is working. I can play music directly from Spotify through Squeezer in Android or the Android App from Spotify. But when i use the last option the CPU load is 100%. Do you hav ean idea why? Can you get the full command line of the process usin the CPU? With all its parameters? This somehow rings a bell... but I can't remember the details. Could it be proxmox is blocking some ports (outgoing)? Hi there, first of all thank you very much for the fine peace of software. I have been using LMS 8.2.0 since a while and are very happy. I integrated three Airplay speaker and it works very nice. I have installed the last Spotty addon 4.6.2 and it is working. I can play music directly from Spotify through Squeezer in Android or the Android App from Spotify. But when i use the last option the CPU load is 100%. Do you hav ean idea why? I run a virtual machine with debian under proxmox with the LMS system on it. thanks for that, but what is client id and where do i find it? i'm signed in using user id/pwd combo. Check Settings/Advanced/Spotty. The client ID needs to be created with Spotify.
