You download directly via AndroidPit, they have their own market App, it's really exactly the same as with SlideMe. -- bluegaspode Did you know: *'SqueezePlayer' (www.squeezeplayer.com)* will stream all your music to your Android device. There is alot of information on the xdadevelopers forum about the archos series of tables. I think you can flash it with a new ROM and get the gapps for the google experience. -- mn283 mn283's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38056 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92571 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Android phones/tablets .. Squidget and Squeeze Player
Thanks for the reply. I looked at AndroidPit. It looks like it gives me a code I can then use on the Android Market but the Android Market won't let me download as it doesn't recognise the device (although it lists it as supported!). I do have a SlideMe account which is where I got SqueezeCommander from. -- Mick Seymour Mick Seymour's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21137 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92571 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Android phones/tablets .. Squidget and Squeeze Player
I'm using Squeeze Comander already and find it really good. I would love to try Squeezeplay but my Archos 101 internet tablet appears to have its own Apps store and when I try the Google Android store I'm told there's no phone associated with the account. What phone? Its a tablet. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. -- Mick Seymour Mick Seymour's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21137 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92571 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Android phones/tablets .. Squidget and Squeeze Player
Anyone else using these? They're available on the Android market as paid apps which cost a few dollars/pounds but are well worth it IMO. http://www.appbrain.com/app/squidget/com.stone.sb http://www.appbrain.com/app/squeeze-player/de.bluegaspode.squeezeplayer Just installed them over the Xmas break and I'm very impressed. Thanks to Squeeze Player I've been able to turn my Xperia Play into a mini-squeezebox player. In my case, very handy in conjunction with the Play dock and a set of mini speakers. Squidget is the best way so far of using your phone/tab to control Squeezebox. It's pretty much what I was hoping for back when I first got a Squeezebox but up until now nothing on iPhone or Android really delivered, due to the need to launch an app. Having simple buttons on a widget makes much more sense as you can have your controller on your homescreen if you want, eliminating faffing around with kicking something off. These small, clever apps really show the power and flexibility of the Squeezebox system and how it can integrate into an overall home automation setup. -- slimfast slimfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29669 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92571 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
