The XML-RPC plugin (to the best of my knowledge) comes as standard with the SC7 installation. Nope, it doesn't. It's been removed in February. I thought we then got a mail by the author of the Clicker extension that it wasn't used any more. confirmation you received was from them, or possibly for the Mac
version of the script?
Oh, I wasn't aware of the fact Mac/Windows were different.
Anyhoo, looks like I'll need to make some changes. Am I able to use the
regular JSON/RPC script in place of the old plugin, and if so is the
documentation of the new interface in the latest SC7 installation?
Yes. It's the CLI documentation
(http://localhost:9000/Classic/html/docs/cli-api.html). CLI calls are then sent
to SC as JSON objects, like eg.
{id:1,method:slim.request,params:[,[serverstatus,0,999]]} to get

Hi there I have just installed the Salling Clicker software and are using the slimserver script. You have done an excellent work and i really like this feature for the Squeezebox. There is just one thing that i would like to see and that is the possibilty to browse by album art. Is it possible to include that in a script?
