Bring it on for slimserver coders! :) You're forgetting that it's Mac only, and it doesn't do it on the fly. You have to scan your entire music collection first with http://www.wildbits.com/bpmer/. This writes some tags with the bpm etc. and accubeatmix uses these tags to mix. Well, at least there's hope for you that someday it will be possible... A Windows program that does allmost the same as bpmer (as far as I can tell):http://www.mixmeister.com/bpmanalyzer/bpmanalyzer.asp But it only works on wav, mp3 and wma... bummer... -- servies There are 10 kinds of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't. servies's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9496 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52985 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Beat match?
Wow! If Squeeze Box could do this! I would be the happiest camper. Add a REAL MIX feature where you could even mix at different points in the song. In other words, you dont have to listen to the whole song and perhaps it only plays 3 mins of the song. That got my vote! I know. Probably wont happen. I use Virtual DJ (http://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/index.html) to mix my songs and have it play my tunes automatically when we have people over at home. -- Club1820 Rotel RSP-1068, Rotel 1060 DVD, Rotel RCC-1055, Rotel 1095 Amp, Rotel 956 Amp, Rotel RLC-1040, MK VX-860 Sub, Whatmough M30s, Squeezebox 3 Rotel RX-1052, Rotel RCC-1055, Klipsch CF-1s, Audiosource Sub, Squeezebox 3 http://www.last.fm/user/Club1820/ Club1820's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10999 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52985 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

AFAIK there isn't one yet and I doubt there will ever be one as it's not something you can automate easily I think...
