Yes. It's just some sub-optimal code that picks up the track starting twice.
(BTW, switching off the squeezebox also triggers recording of the last track played. Mine is switched off automatically when I change sources on my amp, which is why I've never tried fixing this) I thought I'd done the repository thing already but doesn't look like I ever did - I will try and sort this out...
