Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Newbie QNAP assistance
There should be some default shares on your TS119 - one of mine is called Qmultimedia, for example. In the Windows run box on the start menu, enter the name of your NAS preceeded by two \\ - ie \\QNAPServer You should see all the public shares. You can drag and drop music to these as though it was another folder on your computer. You might wish to create a directory to put them in - I have two - one called Music and the other Playlists -- nicktf nicktf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=329 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73375 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Newbie QNAP assistance
Happy New Year to all Have just set up my first ever NAS - a TS119 for use with Squeezebox. Am pretty new to all this, and have run into my first problem - I have several thousand songs on my PC and on an external hard drive that I of course want to transfer to the TS119. So far though via either Multimedia station or via Web file manager I can only download individual song files rather than a whole album folder etc. Am sure I am missing something really obvious here to enable me to transfer files en bloc - at least by Album - and would much appreciate any assistance.
