Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Plugins not yet ready for 8.0
On my Windows 10 LMS 8 and LMS 7.9.4 boxes both SQLPlaylists and Dynamic playlists seem to work. However I find that the Extras section of the Classic skin isn't displayed in the Material skin so I have to get out of Material to access SQLPlaylists. What am I missing? That's great, Ralphy thanks! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Plugins not yet ready for 8.0
I still use the OtherPlayers plugin too and have added a jive menu icon for it. Attached is an updated OtherPlayers zip that you can extract into your Plugins Folder for LMS 8 To find the location check the LMS settings information tab for Plugin Folders. There should be at least 2 folders listed, put it in one that's NOT inside the cache folder. Code: Plugin Folders /opt/logitechmediaserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins, */opt/logitechmediaserver/Plugins* +---+ |Filename: OtherPlayers-0.5.3.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31591| +---+ Ralphy *1*-Touch, *5*-Classics, *3*-Booms, *1*-UE Radio 'Squeezebox client builds' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/) 'donations' (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations=LL5P6365KQEXN=CA_name=Squeezebox%20client%20builds_code=USD=PP%2dDonationsBF%3abtn_donate_SM%2egif%3aNonHosted) always appreciated. ralphy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3484 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112097 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I tried to email him from this page: https://www.thespicers.net/contact but just could not figure out a way past his spam filter. Left him a PM, but couldn't figure out the email address from the cryptic message on that page. Apparently he had a real spam problem. There's no license that I can see on the plugin although it references the original SLIM code which is GPL2. Is there a protocol for handling stuff like this? sander's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10737 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112097 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thanks, Paul! I've just updated my repos (live and test) so that LMS 8.* will allow installing AllQuiet, BlankSaver, ContextMenu, DenonSerial, FuzzyTime, KitchenTimer, PlayLog, SaverSwitcher, SettingsManager, SleepFade, and StatusFirst. As noted in my REPO_DESC update notes, I haven't actually tested any of these in 8.x yet. If anyone finds problems, please PM me or post in another thread. -Peter owner of the stuff at https://tuxreborn.netlify.app/ (which used to reside at www.tux.org/~peterw/) Note: The best way to reach me is email or PM, as I don't spend much time on the forums. *Free plugins:* AllQuiet Auto Dim/AutoDisplay BlankSaver ContextMenu DenonSerial FuzzyTime KidsPlay KitchenTimer PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SettingsManager SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112097 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I turned on logging in the plugin installer and it listed the following plugins as not being available for 8.0 It probably needs only a change in the install.xml and repo xml to list 8 as the maximum version supported.
