that's the funny thing, I'm sure I have the dynamically update box
checked because that was my first thought when it wasn't updating. I'll
re-check though.

Have you checked the "Dynamically update statistics" option in the
settings for the "MusicIP Statistics Export" scanning module in the
Custom Scan settings page in SqueezeCenter Settings ?

>From the log it looks like this option isn't enabled.

i changed the rating of a song in squeezecenter and then saved out the
log. attached is the log.

Enable debug logging on plugin.trackstat in SqueezeCenter
Settings/Logging and do something that should update the statistics in
MusicIP and then post the log found in SqueezeCenter Settings/Logging

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Problem with MusicIP and CustomScan

so my musicip is running quite wonderfully. my mixes are consistently
working as expected and my library is all as it should be. however, I
have one little problem. My slimserver trackstat info doesn't update
dynamically to my musicip library.

In my custom scan settings I have musicip set to continuously update
from slimserver trackstat info. But currently the only way to get
updated info in musicip is to do an export of my trackstat info to
musicip.

i changed my musicip port to 10003 from 10002 just to see if that would
help and nothing changed. when I check the API connection in musicip all
seems ok. there is a connection between the services. also, when I
export my trackstat info it all seems to export fine.

any ideas on a simple thing to check? do I need to go down the debug
route?
