Hi, Just to report that I got it sorted. Everything was correct, other than (and here is the important bit) in the Custom Browse for the random songs, I had stupidly used the "Only include when these libraries are active" for each menu item. Once I remove this settings, the menus appared as they should. Yes, the only strange thing I saw was that the "Random Classical Music"

It's important that the "Playlist group" parameter in the Custom Browse
menu configuration of the dynamic playlist menus matches the group shown
in the Dynamic Playlists menu. The group in the Dynamic Playlists menu
comes from the "Groups" parameter in the playlist definition configured
in the "SQL Playlist" plugin. I realize I haven't asked this, but you
have configured the playlists in the SQL Playlist plugin and you have
set the "Groups" parameter to the same as the "Playlist group"
parameter in the menu configuration ? If I remember correctly, it has
to be a group it won't work to enter the actual playlist name in the
"Playlist group" parameter.
If you aren't sure how you have configured them, you can post the
*.sql.values.xml files for one of the playlists defined in the "SQL
Playlist" plugin.

Do you also have the dynamicplaylists.cb.values.xml file ?
It Should be in the "Browse configuration directory" configured in
Custom Browse settings page.

Can you post or mail me your custombrowse.prefs file ?
It should be in the "Prefs" directory which location you can find
through "SBS Settings/Information"
The dynamicplaylistst.cb.values.xml file is also useful if you can post

Nope - The dynamic menus are not appearing. Let me give you an example. I have a library called "Tracies Music". On the Custom Browse? Manage Menus I have listed Tracies Music/Albums (Built in) (multilibrary_standard2_ml_albums) Tracies Music/Artists (Built in) (multilibrary_standard2_ml_artists) Tracies Music/Decades (Built in) (multilibrary_standard2_ml_decades) Tracies Music/Genres (Built in) (multilibrary_standard2_ml_genres) and Tracies Music/Random Tracie Music (dynamicplaylistst) If I go to Enable Menus, against all of the above items, both the "Show in browse and home menu" and "select enable menus" are ticked. If I go through all of the menus on a player (tried all 4 players), cant find Random Tracie Music anywhere. On the web interface > Home > Multi Library > Tracies Music, only have the "include internal menus" of the standard; albums, artists, decades, generes, new albums, playlists (ticked), ratings and years. If you already have the menus working in Custom Browse and just want to
move them in under each library, you can do as follows:
1. For each menu set its "Menu group" parameter to the library name
under "Manage menus" in Custom Browse settings.
2. You might also need to check the "Show in browse and home menu"
checkbox for these menus under Custom Browse settings section "Enabled
menus".
You might have to restart Squeezebox Server for all changes to take
effect.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Random Songs on Multi Library
Help!?!? Can anybody help me get Random Songs on Squeezebox using Erland's Multi Library extensions?!? I have the multi Library extensions set up - all good, I have sub menus (using the Custom Browse plugin) for Albums, Artists, and Even Decades, but I cannot figure out just how to get Random Songs for each library, regardless of album, decade - just random songs out of the entire library based sub-catalogue. I have created (under Custom Browse, Manage Menus) 3 dynamic playlists for each of the three librarys - that looks ok. All 3 random music are enabled under Custom Browse enable menus. But, I cannot figure out how to get the menu options to appear under each library?!? Under the main player web control, under Multi Library Configuration, there are no "Include Internal Menus" tick boxes, any random song menus?
