For a similar reason (a household member who manages to hit the shuffle button accidently and then complains that my server messes up the movements of a beethoven symphony) i have written a plugin to prevent the shuffle mode. Should turn up in the list of Third Party Plugins in next days. If you want to use it please have a look in it's settings menu after you installed it. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Shuffle and Random lock
Has anyone come up with a method of disabling random and shuffle modes, on the SBT, or at the server end. We have a teenager in the house that listens to everything she has on shuffle, whereas the humans don't use this facility, so don't expect it to be on, which makes some albums a bit confusing, to say the least.
