Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sirius :"stream stopped..you are no longer ..."
Saw "Stream stopped, you are no longer authorized to listen" again today after less than an hour of listening to Bloomberg using the Logitech Sirius plugin, with LMS 7.7.2. Will try again using the (not so) Sirius plugin to see if there is any difference. OK, I am feeling stupid. The upgrade to 7.6 restarted the "you are not authorized" problem. So, I went to apply Flemming's fix as documented here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=637411&postcount=174 This worked fine for me when I did it the first time. However, I cannot find a file to replace. Anywhere. I've checked all the plug-in folder paths and do not see any Sirius plugins installed. So I can't rename the current "protocol handler.pm" file and replace it with Flemming's file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app via MSB and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin itself. I can confirm that the plugin IS installed and it DOES run. What am I missing??? If you update your SBS installation, you'll have to reinstall ProtocolHandler.pm in the proper place and restart SBS to get the fix. If you're using mysqueezebox.com and not SBS, the fix has no effect. -- Ron Olsen Ron Olsen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89336 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This problem is now back again for me. The fix is now no longer working. I shouldn't have updated my squeeze server because that brought it back and I see no reason to have updated it anyway. -- bozer bozer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29821 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89336 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, I see exactly the same behavior. I don't play a lot of Sirius through the SB, but my daughter loves Radio Disney and I see it here frequently. I am also a paid subscriber. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sirius :"stream stopped..you are no longer ..."
It's unfortunate that Sirius stops routinely after only about 15 minutes. To me having to push the "play" button every 15 minutes is unacceptable. It is a premium subscription and a recommended supported application . I believe and trust that this issue will be addressed and corrected by the responsible administrators or else I'll be forced to terminate my subscription. I really like very much Sirius and do not wish to do that. Logitech should not advertise a premium music station to it's loyal customers that is an inferior product IMHO. And I am a Logitech loyal supporter. Thank you. -- Ikabob Ikabob Squeezebox Touch w/SBS; SAE Amplifier;Marantz Pre-amp;ESS Heil Speakers(main listening speakers plus various additional speakers). I am a paid internet radio subscriber to Sirius, however, I consistently get a stopped stream and the message like: "stream stoppedyou are no longer authorized to use the service" I called Sirius and the gentleman reset everything and apologized. I was hopeful until about 10 minutes into playing a station...the same thing occurred. I do not know exactly where to turn at this time , so I am posting this in hopes that others may have an answer.
