Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SiriusXM?
This sort of issue is becoming more prevalent i.e. a source that used to work natively in SN/LMS drops support but it is there for the likes of Amazon, Roku, Sonos devices etc. My generic solution is a Pi streamer attached to my Hi-Fi which will stream ANY source that you can plug in to the Hi-Fi to LMS via a "Tune in URL". You can do this with piCorePlayer on said Pi with Squeezelite & LMS disabled but pcp-streamer switched ON and something akin to a Behringer UCA202 (a joint ADC & DAC) as the interface between Hi-Fi and Pi. However pcp-streamer has a couple of downsides that I don't like. Instead I use the same hardware but with Raspbian, Liquidsoap & Icecast2 installed. I followed these 2 how to's https://iotsblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/25/wireless-streaming-vinyl-to-squeezebox/ - which gives you mp3 streaming then improved to FLAC streaming in - https://iotsblog.wordpress.com/2016/10/22/high-end-wireless-vinyl-streaming/ This gives you exactly what stream-what-you-hear does on Windows but is more flexible in that a) its an always on headless Pi and b) it will stream anything that is output by the Hi-Fi so it could be SiriusXm on Amazon Alexa device or it could be Vinyl played on your turntable. Lag is about 3 seconds. You can also, of course, do the same with the WAVInput plugin if your source is close enough to your LMS server. None of these solutions support Metadata but I have hacked favoutites.opml so at least I have a nice icon 27745 +---+ |Filename: 2019-07-23 16_59_37-Logitech Media Server.jpg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=27745| +---+ VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110783 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I assume you've seen this thread and several other older threads on attempts to get SiriusXM back. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104287-Sirius-Dead-on-the-Logitech-Devices/page8=siriusXM What I do is the following (windows program): 1. Install "Stream What You Hear" on my laptop https://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/ 2. With SWYH running, right click on the program in your tray and select "Tools" then HTTP LIve Streaming. Then copy the resulting link and add that as a FAVORITE (like a radio station URL) in LMS. 2.A. in SWYH settings, tick "log unhandled errors" and "use specific HTTP port". Enter 5901 for port number. 3. Open a browser on the computer running SWYH, navigate to SiriusXM online streaming and start the playback. 4. In LMS/Squeezebox, locate and play the favorite created in part 2 above. 5. Turn off the speaker on the computer running SiriusXM You should now hear the SiriusXM playing through LMS/Squeezeboxes. Sounds complicated, but actually very simple, and most of these steps are done only once. *Home:* VBA 4TB (2.5)>LMS 7.9.2>Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.4)>LMS 7.9.1>Touch>Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (ethernet, Radio WIFI) *Office:* Win10(64)>LMS 7.9.2>Squeezelite *The Wild (no internet): *PiCorePlayer 4.0 on rPi 3B+, hifiberry Dac+Pro, 4TB USB (LMS & Squeezelite) *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win10(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpa > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110783 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Now that you can play SiriusXM from a web-brower via https://player.siriusxm.com or via Alexa, Roku etc. https://www.siriusxm.com/athome , would it be possilbe to play it on a squeezebox as well, similar to Spotty or something?
