first off, 7.0 is unstable.  don't use it unless you really know what 
you are into
second...Java 6.0 and Vista are also very new.  best avoid combining a 
bunch of totally new stuff and expecting it to work. I'd suggest 
working with 6.52 builds and see what you get from there.  Then maybe 
consider working with java 5.x that is know to work with softsqueeze.  
I know that the developer of SS is currently, and quite rightly 
preoccupied with the important aspects of being a human being (he's a 
new daddy) so isn't in a position of fixing anything for something Sun 
has done.


I'm sure there are people who will be willing and able to help, but do 
them a favour and come back with one thing at a time, not a bleeding 
edge from all directions.  There is just no place to start there.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.2 in latest 7.0 nightly

Hi,

I've tried to run softsqueeze for the first time in a while, and I'm
not having much success. It launches, but then shows me a picture of a
transported and none of the buttons do anything, no right click menu,
no remote or options when I click the little buttons in the top left.

I'm running Java 6.0 and Vista, I guess that might be something to do
with it?

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.2

I just downloaded the new version of Softsqueeze for the Macintosh (3.2)
but it just hangs on the splash window and never starts up. I can choose
the various menus and quit but can not get the controller and display.
Version 2.8 still works fine.

I am running 10.4.8 on a PB G4. Does anyone have any suggestions?
