I was able to install the plugin. It almost works. I have it working fine but after the first song the synchronization is off. My Duet and Boom synch fine; Softsqueeze is a little behind. Are there any disadvantages to using Softsqueeze? It is no longer considered Logitech approved and they warn you about risks of using it. I think you are asking about Softsqueeze. You get to that through squeeze server, open web control, click on settings bottom right, click on plugins, you may have to click show all third party plugins at very bottom, then this plugin will show up in extras in squeeze server as Community Softsqueeze, click on this and it will install softsqueeze on your desktop. I'm having the exact same problem! Did you find a fix? Additionally, before I upgraded my PC to Windows 7, I had an application that worked perfectly for this. It had an image of the complete remote. It was an extra you installed from the extra menu under 7.3.2 SqueezeCenter. I am running Squeezebox Server Version: 7.4.1 - r28947 and the 7.5 SqueezePlay Beta. If I run them as single output they work fine, if I choose the Sync funktion ON then the SqueezePlay goes mute but seams to keep running normal. Just the sound output on the desktop stops. Yes, it's a known problem. SqueezePlay isn't getting a lot of attention currently (as a free app, why should the developers spend a lot of time there?) but hopefully by the end of the year.
