[SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezebox player can't connect to QNAP?
I have just bought a new QNAP TS-119 and install SSOTSSqueezecenter on it. It seems to og my SB-player can find my nas (which is on static IP) but it cannot connect to it?! Is there some sort of Windows (XP) security problem? Futhermore a tried setting up the QNAP using automatic IP but here I cannot use (the browser doesn't allow it) use the web-interface (via QNAP Finder)! First off make sure you get down to basics. Plug your SB and your NAS into the same router with ethernet. This will eliminate any networking issues. Both the SB and the NAS is connected through ethernet to my router (DIR-615). I now tried to change NAS setting to automatic IP and this made the Squeezebox player able to connect to the QNAP. BUT with automatic IP both the web-interface (of QNAP Finder) and windows explorer (Public drive of QNAP mapped) can nolonger active!
