Just an idea to get round the problem of track GUID's being duplicated on multiple releases (as explained in Erland's wiki - http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/TrackStat_plugin)...
If files were to be tagged with the Musicbrainz *release* GUID as well, this value could be used by Trackstat along with the track GUID to identify a unique instance of a particular recording. Is that doable? Or has it been suggested before, in which case berate me for my lack of searching... :) It's like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none.
