Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update Plugin: Should skip count work?

2009-12-30 Thread mariowing

Thank you for your answer! I downloaded the latest version of the plugin
but could not find the perl import script included in the zip-file. I
therefore googled and found it somewhere else. I am wondering if perhaps
I have an old version. Although I don't know anything about perl, the
version I have don't seem to have any code for handling skipped files.
When running the script it just says no update required. Is it
possible for you to e-mail me the latest version, or direct me to the
correct download location?

Thanks again!

That's where I downloaded from, but the script for importing into iTunes
is not included in the latest zip-file for download... I had to download
version v1.0.2 to find the perl script. So I am wondering if there is a
newer version of the script available somewhere?

Thanks again for taking time to answer my question!

It *should* work on later versions.
I was resisting upgrading iTunes for some time but I think I'm on at least 8
now.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update Plugin: Should skip count work?

2009-12-26 Thread mariowing

Hello there!

My question is in the title of the post really... I wonder if skip
count should work when importing the history file from iTunes Update
plugin into iTunes 9?

I see on http://www.jamescraig.co.uk/SlimServer/index.html that it says
this only works for iTunes 7, but some of the info on the page seems a
bit out of date so it would be very nice if someone could clarify if
this feature only works on iTunes 7, meaning it does not work on later
versions of iTunes.

Regards, Marius
