/material in 2 cases with Default still as default but the third is a
Core32 where material is the default skin and that also has a 404

I see your point though - relative paths for the web server

Let me do some more testing

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Advanced Genre Replacement

2021-12-21 Thread d6jg

Now that I have dug into this properly I regret I have found a bug -
this is rather an edge case but nevertheless

2 albums in my Qobuz collection both titled Sunshine Superman and both
by Donovan - they are however different

36502

I tagged both as genre = Pop and they seemed to import OK but apparently
not

I also have a question arising from the fact I have 3 instances of LMS
all using the same library of files and all with OMLI enabled. Is there
any means of copying the genre replacement from one instance to another?
Is it just one new table in the database that could conceivably be
exported from one instance and imported to another?

Turns out they are both from Spotify not Qobuz but of course I can't
change their album names either way.

The 2018 version doesn't seem to be available in the UK. There is a 2005
remaster but no re-recording.

I'm definitely in UK. They must have removed it but I can confirm it

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Advanced Genre Replacement

2022-01-20 Thread d6jg

@Micheal

I think you may have missed my post above so I am repeating a couple of
issues I have found with Advanced Genre Replacement.

1) It is very easy to accidentally put a piece of whitespace when
pasting into multiple entries e.g. "Rock " which creates an additional
genre - easy to correct when spotted.

2) When you have 2 identically named albums from an Online source(s) the
genre doesn't get written correctly e.g. below which is not possible to
correct and ends up with a weirdly named genre

36953

In normal use you'd just change one of the album names - in this case
one of the two is a (Remixes) version but Qobuz doesn't differentitate
by name.

This is probably an edge case but thought you would wish to at least
know.

I also have a question arising from the fact I have 3 instances of LMS
all using the same library of files and all with OMLI enabled. Is there
any means of copying the genre replacement from one instance to another?
Is it just one new table in the database that could conceivably be
exported from one instance and imported to another?

Good catch! I've committed a change to 8.3 which would hopefully address
both these issues. In the second case it won't be possible to have
different genres for identical artist/album tuples. If you enter
different genres you'll get random results. You've been warned! :-)

Many thanks

Probably won't matter in the vast majority of cases but I knew to use
the normal default multi tag separator here viz "Electronic; Jazz" but
there is no note to tell you to do so if you want to multi tag - someone
might put "Electronic\\Jazz" which I suspect would come out as just that
if the separator is at default.
