Yes- the issue was a problem back in early 2020 as 8.0 was released "suddenly" and plugins developers had to play catchup without forcing all 7.* plugin users update plugins with no functional change. That said, some of your repo URLs were out of date. I would advise to remove all 3rd party repos URLs and then discover which ones you now need and make sure they the up to date one. With the new automated 3rd party plugin list build which rebuilds 3rd party list every x hours - there is less need for separate plugin repos previously required to push out plugin updates quickly. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114151 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I think I know the source about the version problems: I installed these plugins quite some time ago. In the meantime the install.xml has been updated within the plugins / repo, but not the version number of the plugins. Therefore the old installation did not update the plugins. I was cautious before upgrading LMS, thus I updated all install.xml of plugins before, as I was not sure if these plugins get removed during the update progress. Probably there is no issue when upgrading an old installation or in the worst case people have to reinstall the plugins after upgrading... frankd wrote: > I try to reverse engineer the source of these 4 plugins. > Overall my repository list is pretty long, including yours :-): > WRT to my plugins. The list is a bit out of date. For example the PlayHLS plugin is for V2 but the a beta test version which was only used for short periods toi test fixes for user found bugs and so can get out of date v. quickly. The "release" version is http://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/repo-playhls-v2.xml To be part of the LMS "3rd party plugins" list most of my supported plugins have been moved into https://netcologne.dl.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/OtherPlugins/bpapluginsrepo.xml such as iHeartRadio, RadioNet and PlayHLS V1. Plugin in this repo such as RadioNet means their own repo URL are no longer supported (e.g. in your list https://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/radionet-repo.xml ) Any of my plugins that are needed/supported for 8.* had their install.xml updated (like many other plugins) in Feb 2020 shortly after released of 8.0.0 and the then advice for 7.9 users was to delete & reinstall plugins to get install.xml update. I think you should base your starting list from the LMS reposiotry https://github.com/LMS-Community/lms-plugin-repository/blob/master/include.json bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114151 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Do you have plugin rfepo URLs ? maybe they are old development ones. PlayMP4 was an hack plugin (IIRC used ffmpeg to play MPEG4) which is now redundant with addition of MP4 support in 8.* so it is not needed for 8.* bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114151 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
