Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Is the Inguz plugin with LMS working?

2015-02-21 Thread JohnB

I haven't used Inguz for ages but still have it installed (but
disabled).

Anyway, I have enabled it to do a test and it still seems to work, at
least the Equalizer does (I tested it for 2 bands). I haven't tested the
DRC.

My system is:
Windows 7 64 bit
I.E 11.0 (though Firefox is my default browser)
LMS 7.9.0 - 1421407005
Silverlight 5.1.3

Touch, Meridian G92, Meridian G55, PMC OB1i speakers, HP Proliant
Microserver/Ubuntu, PC/Windows 7, iPad 4, iPeng, Squeezepad.

Thanks for responding John. Did you actually check the inguz log? I ask
because the equalizer portion of the app "appears" to work to work here
too, just no change in sound. I keep seeing the same -silverlight-
message "-cannot iniltialize silverlight 'create silverlight control' is
undefined-"
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Silverlight, but no change.
Thanks for checking.

p.s. Long time fan of Anne, her more recent live concert with her
"Mutter Virtuosi" group of young musicians is great to watch (I saw it
on Medici TV).

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Is the Inguz plugin with LMS working?

2015-02-24 Thread JohnB

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

When I tested it (using a 2 band equalizer) the sound was definitely
affected. I had 2 presets - one bass -6dB/treble +6dB and the other bass
+6dB/treble -6dB and there was a noticable difference between the two.
For convenience, I was using the iPeng app on an iPad to control
LMS/Squeezebox, though IE also seemed to work as well.

I've looked in the log and there was no mention of Silverlight there.

I thought that Silverlight was used for the Inguz web browser, rather
than the actual processing of the audio - though I might well be wrong
(I often am).

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Is the Inguz plugin with LMS working?

2015-02-26 Thread Wirrunna

I still use Inguz, did a search as I remember there was some problem
with silverlight.js -
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?89401-Oops-I-broke-my-Inguz-%28&p=653174&highlight=silverlight#post653174
- might help. I also recall that silverlight needs 32bit IE to work,
although I can now set the eq in Firefox, so I must have added
Silverlight at some stage.

I built a preset that I called Transistor Radio" that has no lows or
highs, just 500Hz to 2000Hz and switching to that on my Klipschorns
proves it works

i just installed inguz and although i see the setting etc in web
interface, I don't see a drop down menu for FLAC filetypes to let me use
the InguzDSP in advanced settings? Even after a restart. Using
Yosemite, and 7.9.0 as well. Ill see if anything changes in iPeng when
I switch eq settings.
