Ah, whew. Yes, I was off the forums for a while *and* lost access to the
old server I'd been using... but the new repo should work OK, and I am
trying to keep the plugins working. ;-)

I suspect adding them to the unsupported repository I linked to will
work.

If these apps and patches are hosted with the maxversion overwritten in
the repository.xml, everything will work automatically. That is what I
did locally. Maybe there is a simple approach of overwriting maxversions
for a "positive list of apps / patches" via the official repository?

Thanks Peter for the plugins.
I think I lost you repo when the link was not available for some time (I
guess you moved the repo) - thus I used backups to add the plugins to my
internal webserver (repo). Good to know that everything is still
available and maintained :-)
I will edit my first post to remove those.
Cheers,
Frank

Not completely sure if the “Use unsupported extensions” option also
works for patches/applets or if something similar would have to be done
in the SqueezePlay source code to make it work.

That likely would need some work in the Patch Installer, too.

Might be worth to check with Michael(mherger) if they could be added to
the unsupported list:
https://github.com/LMS-Community/lms-plugin-repository/blob/master/unsupported.xml
Not completely sure if the “Use unsupported extensions” option also
works for patches/applets or if something similar would have to be done
in the SqueezePlay source code to make it work.

Were you having trouble with the AllQuiet and SleepFade plugins from my
Netlify repository?
