Yes, the output setting is for the RPi onboard audio. Do what Man in a
van said, and select the katana output.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Picoreplayer + Katana

2019-10-28 Thread TweakFan

Hello

I have tyhe same configuration: using Picore 5.0.0 with newest Katana
player 1.2 SQ (with isolator).

The player works with Volumio, but not with Picore:
Squeezelite running, but no sound.
My configuration:

28409

Some help would be very appreciated!

Oh my, that's it.

The jumper on J30 was open. The units come preset for two PSU operation
and I presumed that, as I had the isolator, they would have set it up
for my feature set. But no!

I'm very grateful for your support - especially as this turns out to be
user error rather than software compatibility.

Thank you!

Simon

That all looks good. This is feeling like a power connection issue or a
bad board.

Do you have the jumpers installed according to the manual?
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/IIL9GvUVg7phCrSOi0Uu4iRsAV98kF1m5BcN3Nchp7N

Step 1: on KATANA place J30 jumper (close the circuit)
Step 2: on Micro Controller board, place jumper on J26 (position 2 & 3)
Step 3: First power MC with 5V 3A PSU connected to the typeC USB
Step 4: Second power Isolator with 5V 3A PSU connected to the typeC usb
connector

I can ssh via putty in but am on the edge of my experience. So if there
are any specific commands I need to input beyond typing in what you've
written please let me know.

Has this card ever worked with any distro? This looks like the micro
controller is not responding.

Can you check the config.txt when you ssh.

Need to see the overlays that are loaded.

Can you provide details, as the Katana works fine here.

Information on the diagnostics page is probably a start.
