I am now getting scrobbled. Sorry to drag up an old post but I suddenly realised my squeeze devices had stopped scrobbling. This post cured it in case anybody else has this problem. Looking at my scrobbled tracks it seems to have happened when Last.FM upgraded my account to a Subscriber for 3 months as part of their drive to charge for streaming to squeeze devices. -- Blisteringblue 'What am I listening to?' Brucegrr, if you are asking me , yes, I did correct the problem of not being scrobbled. I went to SBS settings and reset my username and password under the basic and the advanced settings tab for each player. Even though the settings seemed correct originally by resetting the same names/password it helped. Looking at the SB server log I see repeated messages "Couldn't resolve IP address for: post.audioscrobbler.com". However, if I enter post.audioscrobbler.com into the address bar on my browser I'm taken to a page that refers to last.fm so the browser is properly resolving the address. I'm also getting many repetitions of this error message: " pack_sockaddr: invalid host at /AnyEvent/DNS.pm line 1089" so it seems that something is wrong with the perl module DNS.pm. Any help greatly appreciated. FWIW, these problems began with the most recent update to the SB software. Thanks for responding. I am not sure what you mean by local music...if you mean itunes...yes...my itunes do get scrobbled (I think). I listen to a lot of Rhapsody albums and I do not see them scrobbled. Also, I see much more music scrobbled when I listen on my PC than when I am listening on my Squeezebox. I do not think that any music is being scrobbled on my SB. I have the correct username and email address listed.
