Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ttftosbg problem
The other thing I thought of is, are you using the right program for your player? TTFtoSBG as referenced in the thread subject is only for the SBG. If you have a SB2 or 3, you need to use TTFtoSB2. A player will only show as available the fonts that match its display size. James NOTICE: If received in error, please destroy and notify sender. DOH! thanks... note: TTF2SBG is the only program for fonts I saw on slimdevice's plugin page. TTF2SB2 isn't there, but I found the link via google. anyone know if there a reason it isn't on the plugins page? maybe it shouldn't be used or something? just curious. -- daremo daremo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11779 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33375 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

anyone know if there a reason it isn't on the plugins page? Not that I know of - it worked fine for me. I've added a link to the Wiki page. In fact I've rebooted at least a couple of times (I do not leave the PC on). I wondered about a font cache - I was looking at the file font.pm (I think) for clues, but I don't really read code. Anyway I was also think of renaming the original bmp files to .old and name my created ones the same as the origs. Just as a workaround. But basically I can't get it to work otherwise. I may try emailing the author of the app. -- daremo daremo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11779 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33375 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ttftosbg problem
I'm new to ss and sb3, and have the same 'problem'. The instructions said to just open slimserver and choose the font, but it isn't there. So I wondered if the actual .ttf also has to be in the graphics directory, not just the .bmp? (In my case I created a bmp from Verdana) I may try that tonight. I saw a post about the clock displaying question marks that made me think about this. Plus there are some default .ttf files in the graphics directory already - apparently they need to be there, huh? -- daremo daremo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11779 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33375 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
