[pmapper-users] Identify Button and collapse results - How to change it?
Hi Armin and all, I downloaded the last stable version and noticed that when I use the identify button, the query table result appears hidden (collapse with a down arrow ). How can I modify this so that the attributes are displayed? I think the default outputformat definition for PNG in p.mapper is 8-bit PNG, which is unsuitable for data like satellite or aerial images since it has only 256 colors. For imagery data you need to use either 24-bit PNG or JPEG. The first has the advantage of better quality for overlaid vector data, the second the much smaller file size that is transfered to the users. Therefore the altImgFormat exists as alternative format in case a certain layer is activated. So you could use e.g. PNG-8 for vector only data, and PNG-24 or JPEG when the Landsat layer is activated. [pmapper-users] Problem in zoom2extent using postgis layers
Hi Armin, hi all, First, congratulations to new pmapper version! It´s really easier to configured. But I don´t know why, when I use PostGIS Layers, the function javascript:PM.Map.zoom2extent() doesn´t woks. The same layer in shapefile format, works perfectly. I tried in Linux (Ubuntu 9.10) and in Windows (7). Resuming, when the user clicked in the information button, the attributes window appear, but the zoom button in this window not working, the loading message appears for all the time. I´m not using metadata, just the tag TEMPLATE 'void'. My mapfile have only

the link for zoom2extent should look similar to

if the '()' are empty then the error is somewhere before.
I would encourage you to try various settings of layers enabled, query
types, and check what works and what not. Otherwise you will not be able
to narrow down the problem.
BTW: the line 791 in map.php should be
$qLayer-set(data, $qLayer-getMetaData(PM_RESULT_DATASUBSTITION));
do you use this METADATA setting...?

please check your PHP and Javascript error log, report them, and mention
also which version of Mapserver (and PHP) you're using, and when/where
the error appears exactly.

I'm trying to modify a pmapper demo map and to adjust it to my shapefiles (already uploaded inside the pmapper-demo.map and I can see them clearly), but something is going wrong when I remove the two raster files from a pmapper demo map (jpl_wms_global_mosaic and europa_dem.jpg, having a huge mapexent that it doesn't fit perfectly for my shapefile. Actually I'm trying to visualize Sardinia. I could see it but of course very small), the map disappears from firefox, and the loading message shows up. I tried and tried several times to understand the reason, but no result (the error console show something like php.ini. I uploaded my raster files and if I remove them nothing happens. I use ogrinfo, gdalinfo, error console everything, but I'm not able to find a solution). My purpose is to eliminate the raster files and to keep mine. Any suggestion?
