good morning, I am setting pmapper 5 beta2 and not I display my personal layers. Google and OSM are visible but appear pink tiles in place of my shapefile data. Hello pmapper users! I realy need your help! I'm exporting my app from pmapper4.2 to pmapper5 beta. in pmapper 4.2 if i set Status ON in a lyaer (like below) LAYER NAME '20-Tirana/500/C14/42/C14-42-06c.tif' STATUS ON TYPE RASTER MAXSCALEDENOM 433000 DUMP true DATA 'Lot_1/20-Tirana/500/C14/42/C14-42-06c.tif' METADATA END TRANSPARENCY 100 PROJECTION 'proj=utm' 'zone=34' 'datum=WGS84' 'units=m' 'no_defs' END END it appears, even though I have not declared this layer as a 'group' to config_default.xml. I do this becouse my map is composed by 4000 tiff files. And i can't declare evry layer in config_default.xml. how to do the same in pmapper5? i have set the STATUS ON but the map dosn't appear!! I guess you do not want to define 4000 layers in your map file either... In your case, independent of the p.mapper version you're using, you should define 1 layer for all your tiff files, using the TILEINDEX mechanism: http://mapserver.org/optimization/tileindex.html http://mapserver.org/input/raster.html#rasters-and-tile-indexing For layers switched on by default I think there is another setting foreseen, I just would need to to check which. armin On 22/11/2012 14:56, yllka baci wrote: Hello pmapper users! Hi From my minimal delvings into this, a quick win (ie. switch the default logo out) is to edit config/common/print.xml and point to a new logo/change bg colour (PDF and HTML). I think there are some CSS settings in templates/print/print.css for the HTML layout look and more key print PDF/HTML processing tasks done by the code files in incphp/print. First of all I really want to thank you about your immediate answer! I think that Print.xml has the settings for printing in pdf format. I want to put a logo in the pdf which is created when a user chooses a layer with the select tool. When a user selects the data he wants with this tool, a table is displayed with some radio buttons. One radio button is Export to pdf. Here I want to add a logo. Hi Do you mean embed a logo into the print dialog window - if so easy - look at the bottom of the print.xml for the printdlg tag and add your own content (you may need to change the dialog width/height etc - may have to change dimensions in javascript/pm_cjs.js - search for printdlg). Or do you mean let the user select their own logo to upload and then embed into the final print PDF (I think that is what you mean)? Not sure on that one - Will still need to modify print.xml to add new user fields. I guess you could let them upload an image (and maybe put some control on size/dimensions/image type) to a temp folder, create a variable that holds the image name (or just always overwrite a predefined image - could have unwanted results for the next user that doesn't upload a logo) then modify the code in print/pdfprint.php to embed that variable (ie. build image path to user logo or hardwire a known logo path if image always overwritten) instead of the default one (code for that is around line 200) or create a new position where you need it in the PDF layout (more work on layout needed). I guess you may want to modify the HTML template too to do the same thing Sorry I can't be much more help. There is nothing foreseen to have this done via a config option. Dear Javier, Probably you should change map2unicode in your config_xxx.xml from 1 to 0. What codepage do you use in your config and map file? UTF-8 is prefered. If you use different codepage in your shape files, you should use the LAYER_ENCODING in the METADATA section of the layer definition in the map file. For labels use the ENCODING parameter too.
