Re: [pmwiki-users] PmForm documentation disappeared?
I put up a walkthrough for PmForm on making a very basic website email form with captcha honeypot, explaining all the lines going over all the steps. If anyone wants to add ordinal numbers to the steps feel free -- it was several hours of work, and I'm drained :) lol http://www.pmwiki.org/pmform/PmForm/BasicEmailForm Each section has narrative explaining the code, and then wraps up with just the code at the end of the section for copy-pasteaholics. I'll gladly take questions, or requests for further clarification to the extent that I understand PmForm, since I've been using it since PM created it. It's the form that I use for nearly all my client websites. For example it's here: http://nyses.org/Main/Contact-Us (New York Solar Energy Society -nonprofit-) Crisses http://eclectictech.net/wiki/Info/Contact (a modified form is here -my website-) On Feb 2, 2011, at 4:45 AM, Oliver Betz wrote: Crisses wrote: The PmForm cookbook page still points to where PmForm's full documentation used to live, but I'm getting a server error now. [pmwiki-users] plaintext : include a page's plaintext
Hello! My skin is using wiki directives to include other pages: !--wiki:Group.Page-- I'm only interested in the text of the pages that we're including. Is there a way to ``disable'' links and images in these inclusions? I found a thread [1] about a possible feature that would do what I need. I'm curious to know what happened to those ideas... Re: [pmwiki-users] Problem with a config.php
Open you file in a text editor able to number lines (if not working by default, set it). Most of them can show line number, it is a very basic option. For exemple, using Windows : http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ or http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html Gilles. 2011/2/2 Fish, Lydia fis...@buffalostate.edu: I am having problems with a config.php file. [pmwiki-users] $EnablePageTitlePriority
Hello ! I'm struggling with $EnablePageTitlePriority Set to 1 in my config php, but has no effect : page included's title wins and gives its title to host page (pmwiki 2.2.23) Can someone confirm $EnablePageTitlePriority = 1; # First title wins; if a title is defined in the page, directives from included pages cannot change it. it's still working as expected without trouble ? I'm almost sure, (in some cases, see infra), it doesn't work for me ; but (code extracted from http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PITS/00266) Markup('title','directives', '/\\(:title\\s(.*?):\\)/ei', IsEnabled(\$GLOBALS['PCache'][\$pagename]['=p_title'], false)''? '': PZZ( PCache(\$pagename, \$zz=array('title' = SetProperty(\$pagename, 'title', PSS('$1' )); does work in any case I guess. In fact, $EnablePageTitlePriority = 1; # First title wins; works or doesn't work *depending the skin being used* (changes are done with ?setskin=pmwiki) : using pmwiki default skin, $EnablePageTitlePriority = 1; works as expected : first title wins using some other personal skin, $EnablePageTitlePriority = 1; doesn't work. I did a lot of tests altering that personal template and couldn't see where the problem is. What is the difference between the code used for $EnablePageTitlePriority and the extracted code quoted in my text Markup('title','directives', (etc) ? I tried to compare stdmarkup in 2.2.8 / 2.2.9 and didn't understand anything ; differences are slightly, involving some $tmpkeep and $tmpwhen variables that don't come back in 2.2.9 stdmarkupfile. At this time, I'm using the pits code ; next, I will have to redo my skin, keeping an eye on how included title work. But I would like to understand, if possible, why can some template have an effect on $EnablePageTitlePriority.
