[pmwiki-users] error with totalcounter and wikigallery
Hi List, After changing some things in the Triad skin (eg adding a css, didn't change anything with the skin itself) I get some errors I can't solve. Everything is backupped to before the change. this is the error for totalcounter: Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /usr/home/web/snl86731/wiki/cookbook/totalcounter_1_8.php on line 1032 Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /usr/home/web/snl86731/wiki/cookbook/totalcounter_1_8.php on line 1040 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/home/web/snl86731/wiki/cookbook/totalcounter_1_8.php:1032) in /usr/home/web/snl86731 And this one for the gallery: Warning: touch() [function.touch]: Utime failed: Operation not permitted in /usr/home/web/snl86731/wiki/cookbook/wikigallery/thumb.php on line 324 Is anybody able to solve this one? -- Groetjes Hans http://www.fali.nl ___ pmwiki-users mailing list pmwiki-users@pmichaud.com http://www.pmichaud.com/mailman/listinfo/pmwiki-users

Our agency has a policy about not running beta software, and I'd like to be able to move to the newer version (I'm on 2.1.26 as things stand). [pmwiki-users] google ads paradox
Well, PM is testing some ways of advertising. At this moment it gives an interesting paradox. If I want to support pmwiki I can click on one off the ads. But than I have to click on an ad of which I certainly don't want to support like projectform or etouch. And most of the ads are for other wiki's Is there a exclude function in google adsense so you can prevent other wiki-systems to hire space on pmwiki.org (or in another form for an other site). On the other hand I am interested which advert-method will last. Re: [pmwiki-users] Triad Skin Update
Hans, Thanks for this skin. It solved so many problems for my website. I really hope PM considers to add some of your ideas to the core. Like te popup-preview option. This makes the editing much more dynamic and logical. But it would be nice if the preview button and close preview button would be on the same place of is the same button. When doing a quick scan, I have to search for the close preview button. I hope it's clear what I ask. Also the choice of adding a wiki-page of every part of a skin should be standard, to my opinion. It's much more logical from a non-techie-users-point of view. And I checked that with some students. They understand right away, without having any knowledge of programming. the selection of (:theme blabla:) is nice. I put it in a groupheader and tadaa. Could it be possible to chose for border or wide?, like (:theme gold border:) I tried to add an extra link in the PageTopMenu: [[{$Group}|$[{$Group}.fali.nl]]]. It works, but could someone help me to let it not show when Main or Site are the groups? I know it should be an (:if:) thingie, but an example would be great for my learning. I really like the PageFootMenu buttons and the example (:if auth :). For the farm with the students, it's great. Only there relevant buttons (edit, history, attach file) are present. This is nothing new of course. The nice thing for me is that I can alter it at every place. Even with no ftp-possibilities. A nice sideffect of the skin is the ease of integrating other recipes like wikigallery and totalcounter. It looks quite coherent. -- Groetjes Hans http://wiki.fali.nl ___ pmwiki-users mailing list pmwiki-users@pmichaud.com http://www.pmichaud.com/mailman/listinfo/pmwiki-users
[pmwiki-users] licenses cookbook 3.0
I saw that creative commons licenses are changed a little. They also provide nice buttons for every license (except public domain). I altered the script a bit and added my version to: http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/Licenses and called it licenses30.php I don't know if this should replace the other one. Personally, I think it's more complete. Christian asked for other licenses like GPL of BSD. Are there links or images to these licenses? I can try to add them. Well: http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html is a link (-; And a button wouldn't be a problem. BSD seems not a general and official license, merely a guideline.
