Cinelerra run under OpenBSD?

I think the old version of Mplayer and ffmpeg didn't
support the new one of x264. x264 is very coode codec
for video.

FFmpeg is very popular for another multimedia project
and the new cvs version support x264. The result of
this combination give under Microsoft a very high
quality Video.

The new version of Mplayer (1.0pre8) can compile with
the options:
./configure --with-x264libdir=/usr/local/lib \
--with-x264incdir=/usr/local/include \
--with-extralibdir=/usr/local/lib \
--with-extraincdir=/usr/local/include \
--disable-alsa \
--disable-ossaudio \
--disable-nas \
--disable-liblzo \
--disable-libdv \
--enable-theora \
--enable-select \
--enable-vorbis \
--disable-iconv \

The Mplayer GUI didn't work and iconv make problems.

bstring libary porting question

2006-07-17 Thread Chris Humphries
Hello,

I am currently working on a port of bstring, which is basically a few
files of .c and .h with some testing .c files.
I was planning on making a .a library and store it in a library
directory
 (was just told $PREFIX/lib).

The thing is that the project doesn't include a Makefile and I am doing
everything manually. What would be the best way to handle this? Should I have a
patch to create a Makefile and then use it? All that is basically needed is to
compile three files into a .a and then move the include files and that library
 where they need to be.

Would it acceptable to have the ability to compile and run the tests to
make sure it runs on the platform it is being run on? Is there a standard way
to do that if that is ok?

Thanks,
Chris

I did a quick port of this for cinelerra (which i'm still working on).
I'm still unclear as to why I needed to as graphics/ffmpeg supports

important: register-plist update

2006-07-17 Thread Marc Espie
I'm going to commit an update to texinfo later today, hopefully.
This changes the way info files get split.

We had a mechanism in pkg_create to deal with it for a while, but
I had postponed the corresponding code in register-plist for a while.

If you do use PLIST_DB (as most bulk-builders should), then you definitely
want to update register-plist before building new packages.

The new register-plist does smart comparisons (has for a while, in fact),
and does not complain about benign changes in the infrastructure.

And now, it won't complain if the number of info-* files is not the same.
Which is what you want after the texinfo update... such central software
as gmake being affected...

http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/ports/audio/akode/

akode has been in the tree for 4 months now. double check the mirror.
which mirror were you using?

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs

I just tried it again. No akode.
But it's there if I do a fresh cvs get.

Sounds like invalid cvs usage or a borked tree.

$ cvs [-d ...] up -d[AP]

should have done it...

Strange...
