NEW: devel/libsmi

2007-12-02 Thread Nikns Siankin
COMMENT=library to access SMI MIB information

The purpose of libsmi is to give network management applications
a concise programmer-friendly interface to access MIB module information,
separate the knowledge on SMI from the main parts of management applications,
allow to add new kinds of MIB repositories without the need
to adapt applications that make use of libsmi.

No, the above will not cause an endless loop.

gnome-keyring-2.20.1 build fails

2007-12-02 Thread Simon Kuhnle
Hi,

I tried to built gnome-keyring-2.20.1 from ports on my -current i386
and it doesn't build complaining like this:

/usr/include/sys/mman.h:113: error: syntax error before "size_t"

The full buildlog is available here:
http://blarzwurst.de/openbsd/gnome-keyring-2.20.1.log

Is this a local issue?

This is a development snapshot of TenDRA that is reasonably "stable" for
testing it a bit and exploring all its fancy features. Just don't expect
that you can build ports or /usr/src with it (It's possible in parts,
but missing C99 support and GOO Compiler Collection specific things will
stop that experiment quickly)

Previously devel/andfutils were included in tendra itself, but have now
been moved out.

It's best to delete the old lang/tendra directory and untar the new one.
I've played with making a diff but it results in a godawful mess because
files/ and patches/ are gone and many things have changed.

Personally, I blame Damien Couderc for this port, he asked for it on irc :p

Tobias

ps: Feel free to show up in #tendra (freenode) and say hi! if you have
questions or need to get rid of all these diffs that make TenDRA
compile OpenBSD ;)

Re: Courier-imap on 4.2 stable

http://shockley.net/OpenBSD/courier-authlib-0.60.2.diff

It's been lightly tested on amd64.

Both apply cleanly and both run properly here when restarted.

In your diff,

mkdir -p /var/run/courier{,-auth}/

if [ -x /usr/local/sbin/authdaemond ]; then
echo -n ' authdaemon'; /usr/local/sbin/authdaemond start

if [ -x /usr/local/libexec/imapd.rc ]; then
echo -n ' imap';
/usr/local/libexec/imapd-ssl.rc start

fi
if [ -x /usr/local/libexec/imapd-ssl.rc ]; then
echo -n ' imap-ssl';
/usr/local/libexec/imapd-ssl.rc start

fi
fi
I fully agree at removing my silly comments. But you might still comment
on the difference imap / imap-over-ssl; and not necessarily start both.
Plus, there is a copy error: of course for imapd.rc the command needs to
be '/usr/local/libexec/imapd.rc start' (without the -ssl).
