IPtraf for OpenBSD?
Hi all, ¿Is someone working on IPtraf[1] OpenBSD port? The IPtraf port neither exists in OpenBSD nor in any *BSD. First glance at sources revelals that is it a very Linux-oriented program. Maybe too much Linux-based. [1] http://iptraf.seul.org/ -- Thanks, Jordi Espasa Clofent

[new] devel/waf, a python-based build system
Hi, here's a port of http://code.google.com/p/waf/, a python-based autotools/scons/cmake replacement (yet another..). Some projects start using it, so i though it would be nice to have it in our portstree. The port provides a devel/waf MODULE for use by those ports, it automatically sets do-configure/build/install: target. The incoming midori update will use it. Comments from python gurus ? okays ? Thanks, Landry waf-1.4.4_2.tar.gz Description: application/tar-gz
[new] devel/libunique
Hi, here's a needed dependency by the upcoming midori update, it provides a dbus-based framework to build unique-instance apps (i.e when your app already runs, commands are sent to the existing instance instead of spawning a new one). Comments ? Okays ? Thanks, Landry libunique-1.0.0.tar.gz Description: application/tar-gz
[update/wip] midori and webkit
Hi, finally here's an update to latest webkit svn snapshot (still building [EMAIL PROTECTED]), and the corresponding update to latest midori release (0.0.21). Midori update is a work-in-progress, there are some regressions and new dependencies : view-source through gtksourceview/gvfs-http doesn't seem to work, favicon support either. As it's now using gio, midori is run-depending on x11/gnome/gvfs, i'm working on a stripped version of gvfs (without gnome/smb dependencies). For an obscure reason, unique app feature through libunique is not working here (yields a dbus error0, but i'm working with both upstreams to sort it out. Midori is now an xfce goodie project, so it uses x11/xfce4 module (but there's no dependency on an xfce component, and it's not planned). It also uses devel/waf module, posted just before. Second, although favicons and source view also do not work for me, shouldn't gvfs be a build or lib depend? midori configure checks for gio-open and since I didn't have it installed before I ran make install do to it being a run-depend, midori didn't pick it up during configure time. One thing of note on the midori update, I think they dropped libsexy as a dependency. -- James Turner BSD Group Consulting http://www.bsdgroup.org I didn't try webkit since I built an updated nightly 2 days ago myself. Diff looks good tho. Two notes on midori. It seems the PLIST requires icons that need to be built with rsvg-convert, but librsvg is not included as a build-depend. librsvg-no_gnome worked for me. Second, although favicons and source view also do not work for me, shouldn't gvfs be a build or lib depend? midori configure checks for gio-open and since I didn't have it installed before I ran make install do to it being a run-depend, midori didn't pick it up during configure time. Thanks for the updates. -- James Turner BSD Group Consulting http://www.bsdgroup.org And when I say gio-open I really mean gvfs-open. -- James Turner BSD Group Consulting http://www.bsdgroup.org

Thanks for testing/comments/help on fixing remaining issues, Landry I'll give both these a compile on amd64 later today. I'm still trying to figure out how this stuff should work, and the upstream dev is not really sure how to depend on it. Btw, if it ends up being a run_dep i'll add it as a build_dep too. And goog catch for libsexy removal and librsvg build_dep too :) Thanks for testing, Landry
UPDATE: www/nginx to version 0.6.32
Hi, Here'a a diff to bring www/nginx to the latest stable release which included some new features as well as some important bug fixes. http://nginx.net/CHANGES-0.6 Thanks to Toni Mueller for prodding, and to Simon Kuhnle for prodding, testing, and the patch (I had the same diff just before lock but kept forgetting after unlock). I'll repost a new diff for webkit once i'm sure it builds. In the meantime, midori should still be ok with previous webkit version. Landry

away for a while
I will be away for a while, sep 6 - oct 5 as it is planned now. I will have little or no net at all, so I can not check my email nor give any okays. If you need to committ to ports that I maintain, do so, but ask others for oks. If possible, get oks from people actually using the software. When touching anything LDAP related, please involve claudio and henning, since they use it a lot as well.
RESUBMIT: Flickcurl-1.5 9 (new version does not require raptor)
Hi, New version of flickcurl which does not require raptor. Apparently if you do install raptor, RDF support is better, but I am able to upload to my flickr account just fine without :) * Moved some basic setup instruction into a README.OpenBSD as the flickcurl home page seems to have problems with firefox3. -- Best Regards Edd http://students.dec.bournemouth.ac.uk/ebarrett flickcurl4.tgz Description: GNU Zip compressed data
