Log message:
Import libwebp-0.1.3.

WebP is an image format that does lossy compression of digital
photographic images. WebP consists of a codec based on VP8, that Google
open-sourced in May 2010 and a container based on RIFF. Webmasters, web
developers and browser developers can use WebP to compress, archive and
distribute digital images more efficiently.

UPDATE: rxvt-unicode-9.14

2011-12-22 Thread LEVAI Daniel
Hi!

rxvt-unicode-9.14 is available. I've been testing the beta and rc, and
didn't noticed anything suspicious. This release is also working well
(with perl extensions too).
Tested on i386.

patches/patch-libptytty_src_ptytty_hnot needed
patches/patch-src_main_Cintegrated
patches/patch-src_perl_tabbed integrated

patch -E is advised.

Hi,

Can you try if the diff attached to this mail works well for you?
(i.e. you notice no new problems)
It contains a new patch that unbreak compilation on sparc64.
I've also fixed WANTLIB.

It seems very stable so far on sparc64...
Cheers,

New: games/braincurses

2011-12-22 Thread Christian Weisgerber
Reading doi:10.1371/journal.pbio.1000578, I noticed that we don't
have a simple Mastermind implementation in ports, so here's a port
for BrainCurses 0.5b.

| BrainCurses is a clone of the Mastermind game implemented with curses(3).
| It requires a color terminal.

Licensing is a bit dicey. A file COPYING with the GPLv2 is included,
so it clearly was the author's intend to release BrainCurses under
that license. However, it doesn't actually say so anywhere. I'd be
equally happy to go with PERMIT_* = no license. *shrug*

building libxml no_python FLAVOR fails on sparc

2011-12-22 Thread Sebastian Reitenbach
Hi,

since there is no python 2.7 on sparc, I tried to build the no_python FLAVOR of
libxml, but it failed, see below. Its building fine on i386 and macppc. Note,
on the sparc I use the snapshot from Nov. 12, with a recent (this week) CVS
checkout of the ports tree. I just built and installed pkg_* from src and
installed it. On i386 and macppc I use more recent snapshots.
Is it just the base snapshot is too old, i.e. pkg-config?

what, there is x11/gnustep/gmastermind ;)

 | BrainCurses is a clone of the Mastermind game implemented with curses(3).
 | It requires a color terminal.

Licensing is a bit dicey. A file COPYING with the GPLv2 is included,
so it clearly was the author's intend to release BrainCurses under
that license. However, it doesn't actually say so anywhere. I'd be
equally happy to go with PERMIT_* = no license. *shrug*

compiles fine and tested on macppc, sparc and i386, so looks OK for me.
With regard to the license, how about just asking the author? His e-mail is in
the README.

cheers,

 http://www.sogo.nu/english/buzz/2011/article/sogo-1310-released.html
 http://www.sogo.nu/english/buzz/2011/article/sogo-1311-released.html

www/sope now makes use of the new MSG_NOSIGNAL, therefore needs a recent

So getting rid of this, and some other now unneeded patches.

btw, it could make use of the misc/memcached and devel/libmemcached I just

this time, to ease review, both patches inlined, since libmemcached had a major
bump, I'd like to add it at the same time together with libmemcached. sogo is

are they OK?

Re: UPDATE: devel/libmemcached

2011-12-22 Thread Piotr Sikora

Hi,

-SHARED_LIBS += memcached 0.0 # 0.0
-SHARED_LIBS += hashkit 0.0 # 0.0
+SHARED_LIBS += memcached 1.0 # 0.0
+SHARED_LIBS += hashkit 1.0 # 0.0
 SHARED_LIBS += memcachedprotocol 0.0 # 0.0
 SHARED_LIBS += memcachedutil 0.0 # 1.0

memcachedutil should be also bumped (upstream bumped 1.0 to 2.0).

I would also prefer to keep upstream versions in the comments, to easy spot
such mistakes in the future.

usr.bin/pcc will get updated eventually. you are welcome to submit a
port and see if there's any interest in getting a 1.0 port committed.
