The patch doesn't apply for me because tabs have been converted to
spaces. Maybe it's my mail client though.
Aside from that, I'll admit I did not test with more than one network
card because I did not have more than one at the moment I created the
port. If you say this fixes your problem, then I have no objections
to get this commited.
Attached is a the patch to drop in patches/ which should not have the
whitespace problem, for the eventual commiter.
