What about all these GUI flavors (gtk 1/2, motif, athena).  Do we really
want to keep them?  Let's remove all of them except of gtk2 and
everybody's favourite no_x11! (;

I do too for the hppa reason.  vim+gtk1 works really well on hppa so  
I would like to keep that flavor please.
