brokenish /emulators/redhat/base

I was trying to build www/opera on my 3.8 (from CD) box

emulators/redhat/base hung up with some error message like:

xargs: unknown option -- r

To fix it I installed and symlinked GNU xargs. I don't know if there is 
possibly a better fix that should be implemented into the port itself, 
just thought I'd post this in case someone else has a similar problem 
and needed a solution.


By the way, although the install was from CD, the ports tree was 
downloaded from snapshots a couple of nights ago.

No kidding.  You are mixing a release and -current.

No wonder it won't work for you.
