Not everything in OpenBSD is useable by everything. This is not just an OpenBSD issue. All systems of any kind have special features like that which are not universally useable.
fyi port for graphics/png does not like MANPS=1
I happened to put in my /etc/mk.conf MANPS=1 and was working a xeon processer with stable openbsd 4.5 by trying make package for /usr/ports And lol, I got a install error, for the package graphics/png install -c -o root -g bin -m 444 libpng.ps3 /usr/ports/graphics/png/w-png-1.2.33/fake-amd64/usr/share/man/ps3/libpng.ps install: /usr/ports/graphics/png/w-png-1.2.33/fake-amd64/usr/share/man/ps3/libpng.ps: No such file or directory *** Error code 71 I went back and comment the MANPS in etc/mk.conf and it was able to make the pakage.. JUST AN FYI to whom it may concern.
