pftop - cannot access rules in 4.6-release

2009-11-16 Thread Aaron Mason
Hi all,

I got the following error while moving through the screens in pftop:

Error Reading Anchor / (DIOCGETRULES): Permission denied

Anybody else getting this error? This was from packages.

TIA

Non-root cannot read that. It is security sensitive. Isn't that
obvious?

 Thanks for the reply Theo.

This came up while I was logged in as root.  Sorry, I should have
mentioned that.  The program runs fine otherwise, I just can't view
 the rules.
